It was a getaway for short term relaxation.

Posted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: Easy travel access at end of I-83. It was so simple in confused our GPS
Cons: nothing
Location: The Inner Harbor location with the water taxi allowed us to get from place to place with easy travel throughout.
Location, quietness, treatment and service were above our expectations. We shared a great experience in one of our favorite places Baltimore Inner Harbor.

Nice hotel - great for families!

Posted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: friendly staff, free breakfast and dinner - proximity to everything, including CVS and Whole Foods
Cons: lots of space in our room - maybe better use of some of the dead space
Location: pier is a few blocks away, hotel is right in the middle of great shopping and eating - both at the inner harbor and Fells Point. Very convenient!
Nice hotel, very pleasant staff, free breakfast every day and free dinner Mon through Thurs. It was great for our family - we all had a great time.

Very friendly hotel, great staff

Posted Jun 27, 2014
Pros: So friendly and helpful. Great pool.
Cons: The location is not as handy as some for Inner Harbour, but the free buses helped make up for this. Safe neighbourhood.
Location: Little Italy on the doorstep - great pizza, pasta and gelati. A short day trip to DC on the train, and the aquarium is great.
We stayed here as a family whilst I attended a meeting at the convention center. Whilst not the closest hotel to the Center, the free city buses (Charm Citty Connector) made this an easy trip if I didn't feel like walking the 0.8 mile, and the hotel staff were wonderful. My daughter and husband accompanied me on the trip for a vacation, and made full use of the swimming pool, enjoyed lavish breakfasts and a couple of times had the free evening meal (basic, but came with wine and beer). Really helpful and friendly staff, particularly the breakfast crew in the restaurant, could not have been more kind to my daughter. A pleasure to stay here.

A Week on the Harbor

Posted Jun 22, 2014
Pros: There is no hotel pool, but they are connected to a fitness center and you have full priviledges there. Free breakfast every morning was amazing
Location: You do have a view of the harbor, although it's mostly blocked by other hotels. You are within walking distance of the aquarium and major restaurant
We had a great room - a bit smaller than advertised - but we fit 4 people in a king suite. We were able to get a roll-away bed (which most hotels don't offer anymore) and use the fold out couch for 4 adults. There was a problem with the room; a broken part on the room door that leaked hydraulic fluid which left the room with a hideous smell. They did move us to another room (a larger version of the same suite) and they helped us move everything. They tried to make up for the inconvenience by giving us free in-room movie passes, but we were in Baltimore - down by the harbor - so we didn't spend much time in our room.

Convenient to the inner harbor, little Italy.

Pros: Location
Cons: No
Perfect location for a weekend visit. Took the water ferry from downtown, also walked over to inner harbor. Shops, movie theatre and places to eat right in the neighborhood.

Great family-friendly hotel in Inner Harbor

Posted Apr 29, 2014
Pros: The full kitchen The terrace Comfy bedding and towels Nice blow dryer and neutrogena products
Cons: The quality of the pull out mattress; The controls on the tv (my son easily ordered a movie without our permission); The temperature of the hallways.
Location: Aquarium, Children's museum, USS Constellation, Camden Yards, Westminster (Edgar Allen Poe's grave), walking along the harbor, little Italy.
This hotel is in a great location. Near the Inner Harbor and Little Italy, everything (Aquarium, Camden Yards, Children's museum) is within walking distance. There is also a Whole Foods right across the street, which if you are traveling with kids is a huge plus. The hotel itself is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. You'll also see a few Toynbee Tiles as you walk around so don't forget to look down once in a while. We stayed in a suite which was great (2 adults, a 7 year old, 2 year old twins and a toy poodle). The suite included two double beds and a pull out sofa, a nice little kitchen with a refrigerator, stove top and dishwasher. The pull out sofa was not the most comfortable but it was nice to have for the kids. The hotel also has a beautifully landscaped terrace on the 8th floor for walking your dog (with baggies and waste stations) or for letting kids play. You can also open the windows in the living room and bedroom to get fresh air which was wonderful this time of year. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.
