2nd time staying there. Nice and comfortable place as typical for Kimpton branch. Also next door to the amazing B&) Restaurant.

Beautiful boutique hotel

Posted Dec 18, 2014
Pros: architecture, quiet, very pleasant staff, ease of parking
Cons: Blankets on beds. It is winter, and while the thermostat worked great, I would have liked a blanket on the bed while watching tv.
Location: Only one restaurant and it didn't have a great variety of things that were basic in nature.
Hotel is clean, beautiful architecture. Was able to book at last minute and it was the needed respite to a very long day. Would highly recommend.

Come for the inner harbor, stay for the theft.

Posted Dec 15, 2014
Hotel is lovely. Had a broken door and they changed my room. Unfortunately the theft of goods from my car while valet parked and the construction taking place outside my window ruined what would have been a good stay.

Upscale Hotel blocks from Inner Harbor

Posted Dec 15, 2014
I'll be back one day. Thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. The gym is a little small but had everything I needed. Nice coffee/tea service in the morning and wine reception. Encountered nice, helpful staff through every turned corner.

classy and rather affordable. Perfect choice

Posted Dec 12, 2014
Stayed for one night for business meeting in downtown Baltimore. Monaco is a classic building with some of the landmark structure still in place. The modern touches make it a hip feel, so it's old time baltimore meets urban chic. I loved working in the big comfy second floor lobby next to the warm fireplaces. Very friendly staff. My room came with a yoga mat I didn't use but appreciated anyway.

NICE BUT NOISEY

Posted Dec 10, 2014
Pros: Loaction, old but updated, safe, smart attentive staff.
Cons: Lower cost to park and breakfast option provided with stay
Location: Plenty
No parking on site, valet was a little high. Room heater was very noisey and bathroom sink did not drain

Beautiful hotel close to the Inner Harbour

Posted Dec 8, 2014
Pros: We loved the beauty of the hotel and the quaintness. The marble staircases were just beautiful. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
Cons: THe heat and AC system
Location: great location! Baltimore harbour and aquarium are wonderful!!
While we were impressed with staff and the amenities offered, we found the room to be just average. Mainly due to the comfort of the beds and the heat and AC that would blow directly on you. It was odd how they would be extreme- one or the other- not very comfortable- mostly too hot and when you tried to cool it would blow too long and hard?! On the other hand, the size of the room was great- its rare that we can fit our family of six in one hotel room with six actual bed spots!!

Pretty nice

Posted Dec 8, 2014
Pros: see above
Cons: bed felt a bit worn out, toilet needed parts replaced; didn't flush and needed parts replaced.
Location: GREAT location.
Room smelled a bit odd, like weird cologne mixed with cleaning fumes. Bed was a bit cheap but staff was great, it's location is nice, decor is upscale, and there is a car service available to shuttle around town that wasn't inexpensive but was very dependable and convenient and the driver, Rocky, was fun to talk to.
