OK Hotel

Posted Sep 3, 2014
Stayed briefly for just one night- staff was very friendly and efficient. Complementary hot breakfast in the morning was good and convenient. However, booked two rooms, one of which had wet carpeting and the other's AC was broken (middle of August). As it was already close to midnight and the entire hotel was booked solid, we didn't even attempt to switch rooms. We did call downstairs about the AC and about 1.5 hours later (after we fell asleep), a maintenance staff member came banging on the door. Given that we were occupying the room, he said there was nothing he could do.

Convenient

Wish it was more affordable. I would have stayed longer if it was under $100 a night. But it was clean and the staff was polite. So I would stay again if I needed to.

Not a Good Value

Posted Aug 11, 2014
The hotel is old and was not as well maintained as expected and while the front desk staff was courteous and helpful, we had to wait for our room to be cleaned at check-in and housekeeping was otherwise not very responsive. There was also a convention downtown which probably contributed to the higher price, but considering the fact that the facilities are old and not well maintained and that we had to wait for our room, it was not a good value.

Nice Inn , they are always trying to up-date.

Pros: We were able to get a room on the first floor, close to shopping, able to get in and out to visit family.
Cons: On weekends a better control of loud noise levels after 11 pm. At first had trouble finding main entrance but was easy after that.
Location: Many things to do , places to go, all near by.
Greeted in a pleasant friendly manner. Very helpful when needed. Time spent at the hotel was pleasant, room was clean, food was good (breakfast) pool was clean and lifeguard was present.

Check in issue

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: easy to get to.
Cons: OPen the pool earlier and keep it open a little later.
Location: Didn't use anything nearby.
Check in was at 1pm. We did not show up unitl 3pm and our room was still not ready. This made us late to the Baltimore Orioles/ Yankees game. Other than that the facility was fine.

Thank goodness we just stayed one night.

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Unfortunately, our room wasn't ready when we arrived (we arrived later than the check in time), the bathroom in our room smelled of mildew, the tv didn't work properly (a lot of static), pool was dirty and there were people running and screaming in the halls all night and as early as 6am (so we didn't get much sleep).

Surprised

Posted Jun 25, 2014
Pros: The cleanness of the room, and the overall hotel.
Cons: The ice machine on my floor was not working, so I had to go down or up a floor to get ice.
Location: I did not like the location, because you had to go down to the end of the street and turn around to go the other way toward the shopping centers.
I had never been to Baltimore,Md, and my job is relocating there, so I took a road trip to check it out. I found La Quinta Inn, on the internet at the last minute. I was very surprised by the hotel, the staff was friendly, and the hotel was very nice. When I found out about the free breakfast, that just added to my surprise. I enjoyed my stay, and would book them again.
