Classic charm in charm city.

Posted May 24, 2015
This Is a beautiful old classic hotel with painted ceilings and a grand piano in the lobby. Likened us back to a time when we were growing up and our parents would go down to the hotel bar to listen to music at the bar. The French bakery in the lower lobby is not to be missed. The only drawback was housekeeping staff. Walked into our room with their key twice before 9:00am but then we finally left for the day when we came back the room was never cleaned. Rooms were very clean though upon arrival and every other day. They just need a better system

Pleasant overnight at Lord Baltimore Hotel

Posted May 22, 2015
Very conveniently located just a seven minute walk to Inner Harbor and main attractions like Orioles Park at Camden Yard. A grand, historic hotel with gracious and welcoming staff, comfortable room and bed. I felt comfortable walking to Inner Harbor for dinner, but hotel has a delightful and delicious choice of restaurants. I recommend this facility to anyone staying in Baltimore for business or pleasure.

30th anniversary at LB Hotel

Posted May 21, 2015
This hotel was all we hope for for our getaway. It was elegant, clean, classic, quite and in the heart of downtown Baltimore. The service from the valet at the door to the very quick check in at the front desk was all great. In the room our questions and service request was immediately addressed. Helpful tips were given about services unknown to us such as the shuttle service to Rusty Scuppers for dinner and luggage storage. The LB Bakery was great also.

Clean , good location , good staff. Only 2 minuses. 1.valet parking is $38 after tax per night. 2. When the a/c goes off there is an audible clank in the pipes that wakes you up, Overall a great hotel if you done need to park .

LOVED THIS PLACE

Posted May 21, 2015
Pros: LB Bakery
Cons: Decrease humidity in hallways.
Location: Camden Yards and convention center are 3 blocks away. Nice local restaurants...really liked Luna del Sea.
Stayed here for 3 days. I loved the antique feeling of the place with the upscaled rooms and decor. Staff was always helpful. The best place was the Lord Baltimore Bakery...ate breakfast there everyday and they had incredible homemade soups which I enjoyed for lunch and dinner. Good place to eat if your budget was tight.

Classic Historic Baltimore Hotel

Posted May 12, 2015
First, the staff all that way from the Bellhops to the cleaning service where friendly and efficient and went above to make certain my needs were met. But of particular note was a desk clerk who serves as an outstanding first impression rep and who provided assistance with my wireless connection and to assist with better room rates. While the hotel is not right on the inner harbor, there are still some spectacular views of the city from the rooms. The old rehabbed structure is beautiful and I encourage visitors to look up while in the lobby for a lovely travel back in time to a place that bustled with business and artistic appointments throughout. I have no difficulty recommending this grand old hotel to friends and business associates! The bed was so comfortable with the pillow top that I wanted to bring it home with me' I had a room with 2 queens and appreciated the extra space! Nice and working accessories in the room, I.e. The fridge, flatscreen, etc. the only recommendation I have is for more electrical outlets for those of us who rely heavily on technology- and need to recharge copious batteries for cameras. Just toss a surge protector in your bag if you have those specific needs. Coffee and baked goods in the adjacent shop are outstanding and shouldn't be missed!!
