“Terrible Stay Away”

This hotel was not in a nice area. We did not get the room we reserved and the room was low end...old and not well kept. There were no amenities in the room. it was bare boned to the minimum. We did not even want to check in but it was past the time allowed for cancellation. At about 3 AM there was a loud and rowdy crowd gathered in the parking lot. A security guard came by in a vehicle and the crowd dispersed but none of them went to a room. Not sure why they were in the lot. It was a terrible experience. We did not feel safe there. Sorry we didn't lose our money and go somewhee else.

Area recommendations
I am not familiar with this town so I could not recommend anotrher area. However, it did not seem like a nice place to be, period!

“Convenient for business”

For me, the Red Roof Inn in Laurel was a good place to stay for me flying into DCA and driving north: -- Convenient location right off main road. -- Walking distance to shopping, drug store, food -- free Wi-Fi -- great rate It was great for a stopover and perhaps would be good for a few more says if doing business in the area.

“Jon”

It was a Red Roof Hotel near DC. It was well used, but it was friendly. At night it was a little thugged out, but again I emphasize that we were near DC. It wasn't bad. No complaints here.

“Adequate for a night”

This is a typical Red Roof Inn: no frills, functional, the least expensive choice available, and adequate for a night. It is located at an interchange on the Baltimore Washington Parkway, allowing quick access to Washington or Baltimore. Since the parkway allows cars only, even my room on the Parkway side was very quiet.. The place has an elevator, so you don't have to lug bags up stairs to the second or third floor. The rooom was clean, the furnishings well-worn but adequate, the double beds comfortable enough. There are places to eat within a very short drive.
