Good enough for a short stay

It reminded me of the cheap motels in nj but red roof was an upgraded version. It was very clean, comfortable, n staff was polite.

Red Roof Collapse

Posted Jul 26, 2015
Pros: Very little. Hotel clerk was friendly but under-trained, overwhelmed, and befuddled.
Cons: Training of staff, replacement of beds, better insulation
Location: Good location off of DC BALT PKWY
What was once a decent motel has turned into an un-welcoming night's stay. Noisy crowd of 5 -6 (not sure if all were guests) greeted us by our balcony door at 11 pm. Completing our experience: lumpy mattresses with broken coils followed by early morning wake-ups from maids slamming their carts against the building's walls or vacuum cleaners against the adjacent room's baseboards. I understood: they wanted us gone as soon as their work day began at 8. Apparently, there must be an incentive for housekeeping if guests leave early. Have you ever left a hotel thinking they should have paid You to "sleep" there instead of the other way around? This is one of those hotels.

Clean, comfortable place to sleep if planning a trip to the area. Price is right, & can bring your four legged family members too!

The room we had was a touch smaller than I had expected, but I feel it was still a great value.

Water damaged room had mildew smell after rain

Posted Jun 21, 2015
Pros: It was the least expensive room in the BWI area.
Cons: Find water damage, rebuild, use cleaning products that don't have a strong smell.
Location: Baltimore/Washington have a lot of sight seeing and music venues
You get what you pay for... Low priced room was antiquated with airport noise. Cleaning chemical smell mixed with mildew smell from recent rain fall made it a disappointing stay.

Quick stay between two cities

Posted Jun 2, 2015
Pros: The price and convenient location on the interstate
Cons: The staff could be nicer and the wifi and water pressure could be stronger
I found this place fairly late on my drive up to Baltimore. It was a pretty good pick, both for the price and for what was around. I checked in around 10pm, and had to deal with the hotel clerk thru a glass window, thou she had some random guy inside the normally open desk area with her. She eyeballed me like I was going to ransack the place, which was hilarious since I look quite the opposite. Anyways my room was at the end on the second floor. It was quiet, and I isuakly despise motels where your room overlooks the parking lot, but it wasn't terrible here. The room was clean, but the bed was a bit lumpy and the wifi was pretty slow. The bathroom is tight quarters, and the water pressure was only so so. Check out was an ease, thou there was nothing to grab for food like I was assuming. One mile away on the interstate was a psuedo casino along with a Buffalo Wild Wings and a DuClaw brewpub, which was pretty good if you're looking for close food and booze options.
