“NYE and the Missing Hair Dryer”

Great location for our NYE event at Power Plant Live--with lots of restaurants and attractions only steps away. Only major gripe was that for the life of me I couldn't find the hair dryer--until we were ready to check out, when I found it near the iron in the closet. Not the most intuitive place for it!

We spent a few days at the Renaissance Baltimore Harbor Place Hotel ten years ago and were pleased to find that it continues to be a first-rate hotel. Due to its size, you may be required to walk a long, long way to get to your room. Save some steps by requesting a harbor view room. Too bad the architects didn't include a few more elevators and a larger area for entering and exiting them. Otherwise, it is a fine hotel with a pleasant, welcoming staff! George K.

“Repeat Customers”

We have stayed in many of the hotels around the Inner Harbor as we frequently travel to the area for business and leisure. We love the Renaissance Harborplace Hotel because of the location, services, cleanliness, attachment to the mall and proximity to the inner harbor. We have now stayed there on our last three trips and will definitely be back again!!!

Staff was extreamly helpful with cabs, directions, restaurants. Beds are sooo comfortable I pulled up the linen too look at the label and will purchase one. Even the wife noticed the difference in how her back felt in the morning, and we have a good bed at home.

“Best Hotel in Baltimore”

This was the 4th time I've stayed at the Renaissance Harborplace and each experience was delightful. The hotel could not be more conveniently located. The Gallery mall is attached to the hotel and a walkway leads guests to the Harborplace mall across the street (as well as the other festivities on the Inner Harbor, including rides on the water taxis). Camden Yards is walking distance from the Renaissance (as is the Ravens stadium). Other attractions that are within a short walking distance to the hotel include Little Italy, The National Aquarium, The Hard Rock Cafe, ESPN Sportszone, and Gold's Gym (which offers free admission to guests of the Renaissance). The concierge was really helpful in mapping out the cheapest and most expedient route to Washington D.C. Also, we arrived several hours before check-in time and were able to get into our room right away. The hotel has an indoor pool and hot tub, as well as a outdoor patio with lounge chairs for warmer days. A cab ride to BWI costs around $25-$30 (including tip). Shared airport shuttles are also available.

“Extremely happy!!!”

Everything was beautiful. The hotel was extremely modern; comfortable bed, flat screen TVs, iPod alarm clock. Even the location was perfect. Right on the inner harbor,not even a block from the water.
