centrally located for business or pleasure

Posted Sep 16, 2014
Pros: Convenient to where I needed to be with parking below in an underground garage.
Cons: It was impossible to find a relatively quiet spot in the hotel's public areas where one might have a glass of wine and conversation.
A convenient, one-night stay for business that required proximity to the Inner Harbor. This stay was connected with Baltimore's Star-Spangled Spectacular event in mid-Sept. 2014. Thankfully I was granted early check-in so that I could get on the job sooner.

Right in the Heart of the Inner Harbor in Baltimor

Posted Sep 13, 2014
Pros: The room, the views, the staff and the convenience to the Inner Harbor.
Cons: I felt $43 a day for valet parking was too high.
Location: Right in the heart of the Inner Harbor. Restaurants galore! Lots of shopping, Water Taxi, Boar Rides, great walking areas.
Drove in from out of town. Luggage removed from car and car taken immediately by the valet. Checked in and our room was ready so we went right up. The staff arrived a minute later with our luggage and showed us the various features available. Breakfast was delivered right on time and the overall service was outstanding. A very friendly staff.

Great hotel in the heart of the Inner Harbor

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: LOCATION,LOCATION LOCATION! And it was very clean :-)
Cons: free wifi for guests would be super
Location: Aquarium, Science center, water taxi service, loads of restaurants
We were greeted by very friendly staff at this beautiful hotel that is nestled in the heart of the inner harbor. Our rooms were ready right we got there and they were very clean & comfortable. Some prankster pulled a fire alarm over night so the hotel was evacuated but the staff handled it wonderfully. If it was a real emergency we would have been in good hands! We would stay here again. PS...if you stay here get the buffet breakfast at the hotel restaurant. It was AWESOME!

Excellent location. Expensive parking!

Posted Sep 2, 2014
The hotel is the perfect lo action for visiting the Baltimore Inner Harbor. Parking was very high. We paid $41. Not sure if there was a different rate that we qualified for but just did not see it. The staff were great but the lady who checked us in at the front desk was not well informed about local dining options. She told us everything owed at 7 because it was Sunday. But most of the restaurants just across the street were opened until 10.

Location, Quality and Service Outstanding

Posted Aug 28, 2014
Pros: Location, quality, service
Cons: Put towel bars in the bathroom!
Location: Across street from Inner Harbor. A fascinating stop was the American Visionary Art Museum. We thought we'd spend an hour and spent almost 3!
If you want a location literally across the street from the Inner Harbor, with easy access to everything Baltimore, this is the place to stay. Once we parked our car we never needed it again until it was time to leave. The attractions and restaurants we wanted were all either in walking distance, or reached by the free bus system. The Renaissance hotel restaurant was excellent, there is free wireless Internet down in the cafe with convenient tables. Room was very comfortable, great bathroom. The only negative - and we have found this is true of MOST hotels, not just this one - is the lack of towel bars in the bathroom. One tiny bar in the shower barely holds two washcloths, let alone face towels and bath towels.

Best view in town!

Pros: Location.
Cons: Education the reception staff on the charging practices of the parking garage!
Location: Just Google "Baltimore Inner Harbor"
Great room with a fantastic view of the Inner Harbor. The hotel is close to everything in downtown Baltimore. Don't believe the desk staff when they tell you that you can stay in the parking garage up to 30 hours when you are an overnight guest of the hotel. I had to pay an extra $7 when I left the garage after 26 hours - even though the hotel put a $30 charge on my room and validated my parking ticket.

Perfect location

Posted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: Great restaurant for breakfast and close to everything we wanted to do
Location: National aquarium, Maryland science center, USS Constitution, resturant sand water taxi.
The room was large and quite clean. Just too far away from the elevator. But it was perfect for its location to inner harbor even had a bridge over Pratt st into the shops. Only a short walk to all the main attractions, most were with in 1/2 a block. Would definitely stay there again!
