Location great. Room 117's air conditioning setup was insufficient. Daytime male front desk manager hates his job and said so at every opportunity during my stay. Pity.

Not for everyone - but great for mePosted Aug 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
This place was cheaper for 3 nights than nearby hotels for one night. It was not in great shape (unpainted patches/holes in wall, multiple non-working outlets in room, crazy-spray on shower nozzle, barely flushing toilet, window leading to maintenance closet view, tv with ~5 channels). On the plus side, the bed was comfortable, and the hot water was fine for showers. If you are planning on hanging out in your hotel at all I would not recommend this, but if you are planning on using your hotel just to sleep, shower, and store your clothes - It is an amazing deal only a mile away from the Baltimore Convention Center (and close to numerous other attractions). Walking the area around the Hotel felt a bit unsafe (good bit of homeless people asking for money, doing other strange things) - would recommend grabbing a taxi where possible. Overall the amount I saved staying here more than compensated for the negatives.

Poor servicePosted Jul 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
The milk for breakfast was expired and sour and the cereal was stale, the air conditioner didnt work, the windows didn't lock, no hot water,, carpet was soaked for whatever reason, the toilet paper holder was broken off the wall laying on the floor, the hotel manager on duty was less than friendly and not welcoming.

Pros: The stay wasn't too bad.
Cons: I wish there was access to the A/C and also wish parking was convenient.
Location: The location of the first inn we stayed in was totally better.. And there was parking, not the ones you have to pay for.
I'm not sure if what the receptionist did was proper or not, but she asked for my credit card for verification and wrote down all 16 digits of my credit card number, then shortly afterwards realized she didn't really need it after seeing the other printed receipt showing the last 4 digits of the credit card. I thought it was weird but just to be safe, I called my bank and requested to close it down and have it removed from my account. I also left my bracelet there but when I called, the receptionist told me that his housekeeper did not turn anything in. I tried to make sure we had everything before we left but, I guess I did not try hard enough. Oh, well...

Awesome location and friendly staff. I've looked at some of the other reviews here and I don't totally agree -- you're paying less than $100/night to stay in a great location, so don't expect it to be the Ritz. It's not the cleanest or most modern hotel in Baltimore, but totally worth it, especially if you're on a budget.
