Robert, we are glad you enjoyed a great culinary experience while visiting Charm City! The area is known not just for steamed crabs and delicious crabcakes, but also for other varieties of Chesapeake-inspired cuisine, including the East Coast's best rockfish dishes. Our own Explorer's serves the city's best crabcakes. If you didn't get a chance to try Chef Rosado's amazing recipe, make it a point to order crabcakes at Explorer's during your next visit!

Great Visit to Baltimore

Posted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: There was nothing that I did not like about this hotel.
The hotel was excellent. Close to the Inner Harbour, Camden Yards and many good restaurants. The bellmen were very helpful during both our arrival and departure.

Nice hotel near inner harbour

Posted Jul 5, 2014
Pros: The overall look was nice. Staff was professional and very helpful.
Cons: Bigger beds
Location: Close to inner harbour, shopping, downtown area.
Our stay was brief, but very nice. Hotel was convenient to everything we wanted to do. Staff was very helpful. Very friendly and professional. Our only issues were the small beds and some of the electric outlets in our room were not working. These beds were the smallest I have ever seen in a double room. The rest of the hotel was very nice. Down stairs lobby and courtyard in front were lovely.

Betty, thank you for the four star rating ad thank you for valuable feedback as well. I am so excited to announce that changes are coming! By the beginning of next spring, no longer will our two bedded rooms feature two double beds....but rather two queen beds! Lots of other changes are coming. Our great property will be completely transformed into an even more amazing hotel! Come back in 2015 and experience the difference!

Thank you for sharing your experience with the world! Our Inner Harbor location places us within easy walking distance of attractions like the Maryland Science Center, National Aquarium, Oriole Park at Camden Yards, Harborplace and The Gallery, M&T Bank Stadium, and so much more! Joggers and runners have two great options: a morning run around the scenic Inner Harbor is always a great way to start the day; and for runners seeking a bit of a longer run will appreciate the history and beauty of a round-trip run to Fort McHenry, birthplace of The Star-Spangled Banner.

Grand hotel looking over the inner harbor.

Posted Jun 19, 2014
Pros: Grand hotel.in the classic definition of a "Grand hotel."
Cons: Needs no improvements.
Location: Near Raven & Oriole stadiums. Near Phillips and other inner harbor restaurants. Near harbor ferry.
Location is on inner harbor. Access to hotel is convenient. Parking is on hotel property. Courtyard made check in/out easy. Hotel is a grand hotel, certainly 5-star, one of the best in the US. Staff is skilled and friendly. Restaurants & bar are superb.

We are glad you enjoyed staying at the Royal Sonesta Harbor Court! As described, we are directly across Light Street from the Inner Harbor, meaning that both Harborplace and the Maryland Science Center are right across the street from our location. And of course many of our guestrooms and all of our suites offer amazing harbor views!

Beds are horrible.

Very old hotel with bad beds. House keeping did not give cofee and sugar in room.

Nilesh, we apologize that you were not comfortable in your guestroom! The hotel debuted in 1986, so we are actually one of the newest hotels along the west side of the Inner Harbor. We will undergo a complete transformation beginning at about the end of 2014, with the entire project slated to be complete by the start of spring 2015. We hope you'll return and give us another chance to make a better impression.

Convenient to Inner Harbor

Posted Jun 7, 2014
Pros: Convenience to Inner Harbor, friendly staff, very nice room.
Cons: Our experience at breakfast was frustrating. No one was at the desk to greet us and no waiter/waitress appeared for about 15 minutes.
Location: Water taxi to other Harbor locations, easy walk to restaurants and attractions.
Enjoyed our two-night stay with short walk to Inner Harbor activities.

Thank you for taking the time to review the hotel and for highlighting our ideal Inner Harbor location! Just across the street, guests will find the Maryland Science Center, the Visitors Center, and the shops and restaurants of Harborplace. Only a few blocks further are the National Aquarium, Port Discovery Children's Museum, and the Top of the World Baltimore. And of course, just a few blocks behind the hotel are Oriole Park at Camden Yards and M&T Bank Stadium. We are proud to have such a great location to serve as a base for guests who want to explore Charm City!
