Always reliable for a good pricePosted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: Price and room layout.
Cons: Bed was a little harder than I like and the pillows were too soft.
Location: Not much in Columbia
Easy check in and great room for a party of 3. The layout gives privacy between the sleeper sofa and the main bed. The separate toilet and sink area and sink and shower area make it much easier getting ready in the morning. Very quiet room even though we were on the ground floor near the front lobby and there was a wedding party staying in the hotel. The beer and snacks for sale at the front desk have a great selection and are better priced than a typical bar.

It was a nice updated hotel. Liked the lay out of the rooms. Don't think you'll get better for the price.

Concert getawayPosted Jul 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
Stayed here for a quick one night stop while in town for a Queen concert at Merriweather Post Pavilion. The location was perfect! 10 minute ride to the venue. We had requested adjoining rooms as we had a large group. Unfortunately rooms were not cleaned, so we had to settle for rooms a couple of rooms apart - not a big deal. The room was very comfortable, the A/C worked great which was nice considering the heat outside, and with the suite setup, was probably more than we needed. But it was a nice. One room did have a problem with a recurring clogged toilet that was clogged when we arrived. The staff did come up and fix it, but it eventually stopped up again a little later (and not for the obvious reason you're thinking. :) ). Given our limited time in the actual room, it wasn't a big deal and the staff did address the issue as they could. Breakfast the next morning was free and a nice selection - eggs, waffles, and all the standard items you'd expect from a hotel breakfast. Overall - would stay here again, no problem.

Love Springhill Suites every time!Posted Jul 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
This is the 3rd Springhill Suites I've stayed in and I've had a fantastic experience every time. Prefer to stay there when one is available where I'm traveling. The only issue with this one was the pool. Very small and when we went swimming an hour or two after the pool opened in the morning there were no clean towels and plenty of dirty ones and other people's trash left laying around from the day before. Front desk was very prompt with delivering new towels when asked though. Would've given a 5 for cleanliness of room except for the big wad of someone's hair that attached itself to my sock.
