“First of Many Visits”
Though the room (suite p) wasn't quite what i imagined it to be, the inn itself was gorgeous, and the service was incredible. the suite was nice enough, but i think next trip i'll spend in one of the more couples-oriented suites. suite p is more for families. But i can't recomment the Inn highly enough. Can't wait to visit again!
“Worth more than the price”
The Inn at Peralyana in Columbia is worth much more than we paid. Never having stayed at a B and B before, we will now not go to a motel or hotel. The room was wonderful, having a breakfast made especially for me was a delight. The owners were wonderful and overall, we enjoyed our stay enough to rate it a five star. We will be back there next year when we need to go to JHU again. We recommended that the staff of JHU contact the Inn to make arrangements for all of the out of towners to stay there. berni
“Peralynna could use a cleanup, but still a nice stay”
Service was a little spotty, and the place could use some maintenance, but overall this was at least a bit better than a stay at a similarly-priced chain hotel. I'd stay here again if doing business in the area.
“Needs help”
The owners greeted us very politely and there was an affair going on when we arrived so we couldn't have a tour of the facility. The general appearence was nice but there were several things that could have been fixed-finished that would be a huge improvement. The grounds were ok but several things were very unkept and made it look a little in dis-array. The rooms needed to be painted in either eggshell or flat paint - not both! Carpeting in certain sections was not finished- there were 2 showerheads in the bath that could only beg me to wonder "WHY?" Not overly impressed and will not go back -for the money that was spent for a few dollars more could have gone somewhere else.
“Cozy Get away”
There was no heat in my room temperature dropped below 35 degrees. Fire Place put out electric heat wihich did not warm nthem room. Tried notifying front desk but phone did not go to front desk.i
