Good commuter hotel close to BWI.

Posted Jul 23, 2014
Cons: Breakfast, shuttle to/from BWI.
Location: Not much nearby a Craker Barrell and a Ruby Tuesday in about 5 min walking distance.
Researched a good place to stay near BWI on an extended layover, the Wingate was exactly what it said online with a couple exceptions...breakfast a little sparse had toast and toaster but nothing to go with same with eggs...good enough on the fly. The shuttle inbound was atrocious as I waited nearly an hour but outbound worked as advertised. Recommended for a good budget hotel.

Very Dirty

Posted Jul 19, 2014
The bathroom had black mold all on the shower walls and was very unclean. The main parts of the floor were clean but under the counters were not and the blow dryer had hair all stuck in it and was very old. The staff were very friendly though and did their best with the venue they were working in.

Hotel near bwi airport with shuttle service

Posted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: the price, the shuttle service, the room size was huge, the breakfast, the convenience to the expressways
The hotel was clean. It included breakfast and shuttle service to the airport. Both were important factors in choosing this hotel. Staff was kind and welcoming.

Close and convenient

The pool was clean and had a lifeguard on staff. The concierge was very helpful with directions and suggestions. The room was very clean and the bed was great. A really nice experience and close to downtown (~5 min away). Good for families. Breakfast was hot and varied.

Great hotel for a quick stay.

Overall a nice place to stay for a night or weekend getaway. Hotel and my room were neat and clean. Only con was the noticeable hint of mildew around the bathroom tub. Breakfast was an added plus.

We didn't have any hot water at 4 am when we needed it and the pool was closed ( which was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel I had even had yg confirm that the po was indoors so we could use it at this time of year) ... When spoke to the staff of my concerns ... They didn't seem to care ...

Conference/weekend getaway

Posted May 13, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Improve on the amenities: pillow, blankets, water bottles in the room for the coffee maker.
Location: The free hotel shutle can take you to the light rail and a quick ride into Baltimore Harbor.
The hotel was a great location for my conference, easy to get to from the highway. The hotel and our room was spotless and comfortable. The only problem was that the air conditioner in the room is right next to the bed which makes it a little chilly. Woke up in the middle of the night looking for an extra blanket and there were none in the room. It should have had at least an extra blanket and pillows. The breakfast buffet was adequate. Nothing gourmet, just basics but it was convenient. If you really want to go all out, you can go across the street to the Cracker Barrel. The Gym at the hotel was very basic but was OK to get my circulation going after a 5 hour drive. It has an indoor pool which I did not check out so I can't say anything about it. I feel overall it was a decent value but very basic.

Wyndham

It's a Wyndam hotel and I'm a owner at Wyndam resorts and the Quality was just not good enough. Small pool no hot tube. Housekeeping didnt leave enough towel twice.
