Terrible Night

Posted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: Receptionist is friendly.
Cons: The room in the hotel is very old. Mattress, shower pump and furniture. Very Very old!! The shower water will automatically turn hot and cold itself.
From outside the hotel, it looks wonderful. Once you enter the room, omg...terrible. everything old. mattress a lot of sound each time you turn to the left or right. light were very dim. Shower pump hardly pump out water and it will automatically turn hot and cold itself. Overall: not recommended.

Just one night stay, enjoying the swimming pool wi

Posted Jun 18, 2014
Pros: The location
Cons: The role of the staff as in my experience should be improved.
Location: Eating and close to UKM, GMI etc
Generally it was ok except that I was upset during the check in.I have called the hotel informing two hours earlier that I would be arriving at 2.00 pm asking for my two rooms reserved for me to be ready. The receptionist answered ok. When I arrived at 2.30 pm, only one room was ready. She told me the other room would only be ready in about half an hour time. She told me that she would call me once the room was ready. I waited for about one and a half hour but she never called.Eventually I have to go to the receptionist to confirm this. That was the time , I received the room key. Why can't she call? Why can't be the room be ready at 2.00 pm as requested.

A bit far from everything, staff with attitude

Posted Apr 26, 2014
Nice hotel overall, the staff though wasn't too helpful, but I guess that's overall the Malaysian hospitality style. Compare to other Asian countries much much lower. Cleaniness was ok but not excellent. Buffet dinner was excellent with great food, lots of choice, again unfriendly staff.

4 Day Vacation

Posted Apr 15, 2014
Pros: The room is very nice and clean. The service is excellent and the hotel overall is really clean.
Cons: More shuttle schedules and drop locations to the city would be nice.
Spent 4 wonderful days in Malaysia and at this hotel. Went to sightseeing the city and see the F1 race. And the hotel room was such a wonderful/comfort place to rest after a busy and tiring days.

Far from the airport and downtown

Posted Apr 3, 2014
Pros: Breakfast was good, pool area was nice.
Location: This hotel is in the suburbs, theres pretty much nothing to do close by.
This hotel is 50mins from the airport and 1 hour from downtown Kualar Lumpur. When I checked in, I asked how much for breakfast, they said it was 35 ringots per person. But when I checked out, they charged me 65 ringots which was very annoying. The room was clean, but the balcony door wouldn't open and the toilet didn't flush properly. I went to the F1, and the taxi service that the hotel uses added loads of charges because of traffic, the usual price is 80 ringots but I had to pay 225.

Relaxing venue, between KL and F1 Circuit

Posted Apr 3, 2014
Pros: Clean, friendly and great value for location and standards, well above the price. £250 for 5 nights room only.
Cons: Pool bar/towel attendance and opening, with some thought to international dietary requests. Small points though.
Location: We didn't explore the surroundings as we were there for the F1 GP, but we're told of a few shopping centres and small local eateries that were good.
Lovely location and grounds, friendly and very helpful staff with simple and relatively cheap taxis always on hand. F1 trip was 45-60 mins and fixed at 100MYR which was about £18 each way, but the cars were always waiting for us each end as promised, despite massive demand and a very busy Grand Prix. Free coach shuttle to KL was great in 40mins. Breakfast and dinner buffets are great value, but limited vegetarian selection which is typical to the local culture. The food was excellent though. Pool bar was limited and not always manned and the pool was open 7am-7pm, so getting our 4 year old out on demand at 7pm was a challenge. Thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and will stay again.

Just stayed here for a night, which was enough for me. The bed was not that comfortable. The bathroom tub/shower was stained/looked dirty. The room and bathroom are a good size though. The hotel does not seem to be particularly close to anything but their golf course, so if you are looking for a hotel close to KL's sites, I wouldn't stay here.

Good hotel. New name

Posted Mar 5, 2014
No longer equatorial. Taxi driver needed 2 hrs instead of 30 mins to take us from kl cargo terminak.airasia. Lots of weddings celebrations. Corridor bit old. Rooms ok but bit noisy due air con compressors from outside. Good for golfers, but a bit isolated. Shuttle to kl golden triangle mall starts at noon.
