From POP Hotel to KING MALL and PASAR BARU shopping centre very far need to take cab paid for 50,000rupiah but if u take angkut its more cheaper paid only 2,000rupiah each , angkut is a van one of the transportation in bandung that are cheap and safety in the day..just to know which colour bring u to the place u need to go..can also asked the security guide or the people in bandung they are very friendly.

Pop hotels have 4 hotels in Indonesia.

Posted Mar 10, 2014
Pros: I like this hotel because they have few chain in Indonesia but this 1 needs improvement.
Cons: This hotel needs some maintenance work & the team needs to react on guest comments.
Location: It is close by to shopping mall.
I have stayed in POP hotels in Yogjakarta, Jakarta & Bandung. But in Pop Bandung, i have bad experiences. I stayed in room 708. The bathroom the water leaks into my room, the ceiling on the left side of entrance door leaks & my bed-sheet was not change for 3 nights. On my 2nd of my stay i request to rectified my bathroom which they did but they did not change my bed sheets. The bed-sheet have some sand whereby i have sleepness night. On the 3rd night at 10.30 pm they managed to change the bed-sheet after my complain. On the overall of the hotel, i think Pop hotel in Bandung needs to touch up with repaint the soil walls & clean up some part of the hotel. The 3 computers in front of reception, 1 computer is not working & some of the tables at dining area is wobbling. I feel with some maintenance work this hotel could be better. The staff was friendly but poor in follow up work.

Value for money

Posted Feb 22, 2014
Pros: Near the airport and next to a (small)shopping mall.
Cons: Somehow the wifi signal is very weak luckily the hotel provide computer for guest use.
Location: Nothing much to do and one has to travel some 5 to 8 km to city centre where activities start.
I was shocked when first arrived because the taxi driver(from airport)commented that this hotel is very far from all attractions and shopping malls. There are only a few restaurants in the mall next to hotel but none nearby.Certainly I cannot taste authentic Indonesian food here for which I need to travel far to the city.

Moden and Colourful Hotel

Posted Nov 15, 2013
Pros: Clean and comfortable
Cons: The hotel internet WiFi a bit slow and difficult to access
Location: Location a bit far from city center
The hotel located in the Festival City Link Mall and a bit from city center. The traffic from the hotel to city center a bit "Marcet" Indonesian language . The room is quite small but the hotel condition is clean and comfortable, modern and colourful design. The hotel provided daily local breakfast such as Nasi Kuning, Bubur and Coffee & Tea.

Warm and youthful staff-lacks some hotel comforts

Posted Aug 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
Overall, the stay was pleasant and the staff were always willing to help and answer any questions. However, the rooms lack a phone to call reception and other rooms. The hotel is also connected to a shopping centre which has a contract with a specific taxi company which means you can't order any taxis in and they don't have their own hotel private taxi service; this would usually be ok, but this taxi company is awful, with bad customer service and price hiking for foreigners. However, you can walk to the main road and hail a taxi, if you wish.

4-Star Staying Experience

Posted Aug 1, 2013
Pros: Linked to the Festival CTlink mall. The discount on buffets at Harris Hotel. PCs to be used at the hotel lobby. Access to Lotte Mart for groceries.
Cons: Absolutely none, you actually get what you paid for.
Location: You would need to use taxi (Bluebird ONLY as the rest, including those by Festival CTlink, tend to inflate their rate) and angkutan to get around town
Stayed the for for four nights and the experience was really pleasant. Room was simple but adequate (you don't even to bring along a travel adapter to use their plugs) and the breakfast was fulfilling. Free Iftar were also provided during the month of Ramadan. Getting around could be troublesome though as the hotel staff won't help you in calling for taxi service. Buy a SIM card from Festival CTlink and call Bluebird to book your taxis. Alternatively, use the Angkutan to get around or hire a Supir. Make sure to visit Harris Hotel as POP! Hotel guests are able to enjoy discount on their various buffets.
