Great BreakfastPosted Mar 12, 2015
Cons: Lift needs re-doing and more keys and locks needed for the ski lock up
Location: Close to most restaurants and very near to the bus stop that takes you to Lake Louise or Sunshine for skiing.
The great breakfasts were definitely the best bit about this hotel and The Whitebark Café within the hotel too for great coffees and bakes. We had a room overlooking the main street and it was very noisy particularly early in the morning as there is a construction site next door. Ask for a room at the back or on the right hand side of the hotel!

Nice hotel by downtownPosted Feb 22, 2015
It's a good hotel at a great price, close to downtown, nice hot tub, sauna and steam room. Also comes with free breakfast! Overall a good experience. Only thing is, because it's close to downtown it can be kind of loud, also the walls are quite thin so you can hear if someone turns on the shower or tap or if people are loud in their rooms/hallway. Be courteous of other people and keep the volume down if you stay here!

great service, allowed me to switch roomsPosted Jan 30, 2015
Pros: location, balcony view, hottub, nice rooms
I got to the hotel late (9:30 pm) on saturday night. The hotel was full. The aussie guy working the front desk seemed he would have rather been going out and not stuck working that night... I had made a reservation for a superior room, and was given room on the ground floor which I suspected was an economy room. I asked another female employee if I could switch rooms the following night. She graciously allowed me to switch to a third floor room with a balcony. The new room was excellent, and I suspected it may have been a premium room. I was very happy she accommodated me and gave me a new room. She was very friendly and helpfull. I have stayed at the hotel many times before and would gladly stay there again.

A pearl.Posted Jan 16, 2015
Not much to look at from the outside, but nice, modern rooms and two spacious hot tubs in the courtyard, with an outdoor fireplace. The courtyard rooms are accessed by an open-air walkway, and the noise from people in the hot tubs does make it inside the room, but since the hot tubs close at 10pm, it's not a hugs noise issue. The breakfast buffet features local meats, muffins, granola, etc. Plenty of hot and cold items.

Lovely Banff HotelPosted Jan 2, 2015
Extremely clean & close to everything. We stayed New Years Eve and the hotel was quiet and comfortable. Linens & bathroom were some of the cleanest I've ever seen. Thanks for a great stay!
