“Pleasurable Stay”
I liked the blueprint of our room with two double beds. The room had a separate living/dining room with a sofa, arm chair, round table with two chairs, balcony, mini fridge, two vanity sinks in the hall separated from the bathroom (which was very convenient). The hotel offers complimentary continental breakfast which I enjoyed. There are two hot tubs in the courtyard which I used on a daily basis. Hotel has undeground parking.
“Excellent Hotel”
Wonderful breakfasts! Great hotel. No airconditioning so go when the temperature is cool. We went 3rd week in July and it was no problem. We even went in the terrific hot tubs!
“Can not wait to go back”
We were very impressed with the hotel, the room was great, it was modern, the bed was very comfortable, I was able to get a goods night sleep. The room also had a balcony so that we could view the surrounding the area. The room came with breakfast which was very good. The location was walking distance from all the shops on Banff Ave. We both enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning to Banff and staying at the Banff Aspen Lodge. We took advantage of the sauna and hot tub to soothe our muscles after a day of hiking.
“A Resort like facility”
This facility made our trip to Banff quite enjoyable. The staff was friendly and knowable. They were able to answer all our questions about the park and took the time to explain options on how to see the various areas of the park. The room was fresh and clean and it was a real pleasure to stay there.
“Expectations Met By Banff Aspen Lodge”
Banff Aspen Lodge is located just a few blocks from the center of town, so that iit provides the conveniences of shopping and eating without all the noises associate with being right in the middle of town. it was our first trip to Banff and it was perfect. Things do not always go perfectly when staying in a hotel, but this place works to make it right! They really care about clients and want them to have a great experience. We never experienced a problem with parking, riding the elevator or taking the stairs. Even their breakfast buffet was good with a variety of items that were brought to your table on request. The quality of customer respect was a 10!
“Good value for money”
Booking blind is always a risk. This hotel was a very pleasant surprise.
“Nice, but price a bit high.”
The girls at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, although the bed was a bit hard. The only complaint we had was the noise. We were on the ground level and the guests staying next to us were outside and very noisy a good share of the night. We did feel the price was high for the quality of the room.
“Nice Accommodation, Good Location, Friendly Staff!”
Spacious room. Comfortable bed. Just a few minutes' walk to the city center (many nice places to eat are just a few blocks away). Free parking in a heated garage below the hotel. Computer with internet available for $3.15 for 15 minutes. Breakfast items (toast, muffins, cereals, fruit bowl) were adequate. Overall, nice place. I had no problems during my three-night stay. Would return!
“Hit all the right spots”
Like most of Banff's Hotels the Banff Aspen Lodge is not air-conditioned which is a potential problem when visiting in the summer. However, this hotel has windows and balcony doors that open all the way and a fan in the room. We were quite comfortable. The front desk was especially helpful with transportation information and the location of various attractions. The only problem was that the one ice machine available was constantly out of ice.
“I absolutely recommend this hotel”
The hotel is great - frindly service, clean, free parking, nice view, delicious breakfast. The only problem I had is that Internet usage is limited to 256MB per day, which I find ridiculous for its price ($10 per day).
