Hmm... Some good some not so good!

Good depending what your expectations and needs are. Cons: lots of uphill stairs and walking to room, plus upgraded to a 2 storey room when not wanted (travelling with 2 year old constantly going up/down stairs), long way to haul all luggage uphill in cold raining dark conditions. Read about no a/c but wasn't concerned as it was raining/snowing BUT rooms were very warm still! Slept with window open all night, neighbours outside late visiting and train/hwy traffic noise disrupted sleep. Plus: spacious, full kitchen with dishes, 2 bedrooms and beds with OK comfort, 1.5 bathrooms, fireplace, good central mountain park exploring location (by car), good price, friendly staff, movie rentals. Only stayed 1 night. Would not go back in summer with no air con! Would go back in winter if with a group needing more space and a kitchen to save on meals.

We wanted to stay longer...

Posted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: Everything...
Cons: Free stay with free meals and free massage... LOL
Location: The lodge is literally at the door step to adventure. There is beauty in every direction - trails, lakes, glaciers, etc.
A beautiful condo conveniently located to everything in and around Banff. I had never been to the area before and I was happy we were just a few minutes away from the hustle of Banff as it was too crowded downtown. The place was clean, quiet and the staff was most helpful not just with the accommodations - but also with help with sight seeing and attractions in the area. We actually extended our vacation for an additional night beyond our initial reservations and honestly, my wife, daughter and I wanted to stay longer. If I am ever lucky enough to get back to that beautiful area of Canada, I will most definitely stay at the Boundary Lodge.

Large living space just outside Banff.

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Location, size, friendliness of staff.
Cons: Airconditioning
Location: Seriously, it's by Banff. Hike, bike, sight-see, shop, enjoy Canmore and the candy store, etc.
The rooms were great, with lots of space and a nice kitchen. Staff were wonderful and friendly. The only downfall was no airconditioning, and it was very warm during our stay. Wifi was good and it was nice to be able to eat in and not need to restaurant it every night.
