This hotel was nice and clean. And it was just a block to the center of town, making it easy to walk everywhere

A Love HolidayPosted Feb 24, 2014
Pros: Everything was roughly in working order and the service was incredible.
Cons: Our bathroom tub did leak during the night.
Location: Lots of shopping and eateries, Brewsters Gondola, Tunnel Mountain, Museums, Hot Springs and Hiking Trails.
Went for a weekend getaway from the city and had a wonderful time. The check in was organized, the food was delicious, the employees were friendly and they even let us know that there were renovations in the works. Employees were courteous, and kept the hotel very clean. They were unable to refresh our room for the day that we were gone but it was still worth every penny of being there.

Hotel close to everythingPosted Feb 21, 2014
The bed was comfy and the TV was decent size. Washroom was very clean, except the toilet was very loud and made noises when flushed. The underground parking lot was pretty full.

Fair priced hotel in downtown Banff.Posted Feb 20, 2014
The hotel was nice and clean. The price was good for people on a budget. It's located right on Banff ave which was nice. It was easy to walk to where we wanted to go. It had indoor parking which would have been nice to use, but with the clearance limits it to cars and smaller vehicles. Lastly, our room was slightly too warm considering it was the middle of winter.

Very displeased, dishonest staff.Posted Feb 20, 2014
Pros: Location, that's about it.
The living conditions were acceptable, however the staff stole $30 dollars from a jacket that was left in our room. The concierge did absolutely nothing to remedy the situation. Do not expect anything less than lack lustre service from the Banff International hotel.

Cons: Better internet service that works
Location: good location
If you would like to use internet during visit don't plan on it here. I satyed here in June the internet was slow and lost often. This time I could not check my e-mail during my 2 day stay or any other surfing. When I complained to the front desck they said they were working on improving it. I told here when I stayed the last June it was somewhat better. Are they truly "working" on it. I dont think so.

Great hotel at a good price. Walls a bit thin so noise from the next rooms was a bit annoying
