Nice hotel, friendly staff, very good breakfastPosted May 26, 2015
The hotel is very nice, right on Banff Avenue with a good and spacious underground parkade. The room was very clean and comfortable and the price was very competitive. The breakfast menu was great and plenty of food.

Victoria Day Stop-OverPosted May 26, 2015
Pros: Handy to the Banff Townsite ... A five minute walk to great bars and shopping.
Cons: Just letting a visitor know about some of the things they do: free transit, bike rentals.
Location: Cave and Basin is a car ride outside of the Banff townsite. It is home to lots of walking trails. There are trail rides, lots of fun shopping stops.
A busy weekend in Banff with the official ski season ending. Hotel was busy, so couldn't check in any earlier. Lots to do in Banff so not a big deal, but it would have been great if the staff would have given me some of the incentive stuff (discount booklet or bus token) earlier in the day. The hot tub and sauna facility were quiet on the Tuesday morning as people were checking out. The restaurant staff in the morning appeared to be a bit overwhelmed. But the free breakfast and the refills of coffee were GREAT! My room faced out to the back of the building, took the stairs down to the underground parking. Nice to park off the street. Very little noise on the back side of the hotel. This property is a maze to get around, but its so handy to downtown Banff, you can walk easily to everywhere! The Staff was very friendly.

Good location, bad hotelPosted May 25, 2015
The hotel is in a prime location. Right down the Banff downtown with underground parking so the shopping is literally 5 minutes away which was a nice walk. The cons though was there was no airconditioning in the room itself. It was +30 in the spring/summer and we could barely sleep. In the room we were given a fan but it blew hot air around. The hotel is very outdated and old so you can hear anything and eveything in the rooms around you. The showers we so loud next door to us and even upstairs to us we would wake up every time. The walls were very thin so we could hear eveything. It was super annoying. The beds were comfortable but the showers were so outdated. They smelled like sewage and it just wasnt comfortable. All in all the location was great but the hotel itself is not. I wouldnt come back here ever again. The price of the hotel is definitely not worth it.

Old but close to downtown :)Posted May 22, 2015
this hotel is located a few steps away from downtown Banff, the hotel has underground parking but the spaces are really small and the ceiling definitely is need of repair on the lower parking level, the hotel also smells like the parking garage! The front desk gave me a coupon book that was expired, but I later found out that some of the stores were still honouring the coupons. Breakfast is serve your own, but you have to wait for them to serve you your coffee. Bed was old and uncomfortable, not what I expected from Banff lodging company!

快適なホテルでしたPosted May 19, 2015

Good price + very close to down town.Posted May 17, 2015
Very close to shopping, restaurants etc. Only 2.5 blocks from the St. James Gate Irish pub + 3 blocks from Rose + Crown so if you like to party good place to stay. Rates were awesome for Banff.

Comfortable hotel, close to downtown BanffPosted May 11, 2015
Pros: Nice breakfast with plenty of choice; pleasant, helpful staff at the front desk and in kitchen; closeness to amenities.
Cons: Building is getting older and needs a little updating.
Location: Located within walking distance of downtown Banff for shopping and eating.
We stayed here one night and enjoyed a clean and quiet room. Hallways are a little confusing to find your way. Underground parking was helpful
