“Electrical faults - Bed Bugs Rule!!!”

If you like camping - this "hotel" is for you. Bed bugs rule! Some of the mattresses are fully enclosed in a plastic covering which I'm sure is to keep the bed bugs in. One of the guests staying at the "hotel" at the same time was severely bitten on her arms and back. An electrical overhaul is also in desperate need. We lost power to our room and fortunately we were checking out the following morning so we just managed without. The bathroom was too small to fit more than one person in it. Small things like soap, butter, gloves for washing up just aren't around. Paying guests are not allowed to wear shoes inside the "hotel". With the superbugs floating around Canada we were surprised to see a large bowl of hand cut butter cubes being used throughout the four days of our stay. Each day the the butter was double dipped by guests, over and over again. No need for a security surveilance system either as the owner and manager of the lodge seemed to follow us around which ever room we were in, however the owner/manager of the hotel who man reception is not on site between 8pm and 7:30am. So should you require any needs between this time - TUFF!
