“Small room with double beds! No queens!”
The room was clean enough but small and cramped. Only had a choice of 2 double beds. Free Internet and location were nice pluses but no breakfast was a negative. Not being on the main street was good since it was quiet.
“Great Deal, Awesome Location”
Great Value. The hotel is pretty typical hotel, but when you factor in the location, and amenities available next door at the Banff Park Lodge for the low price this becomes an awesome choice for staying in Banff. I stayed in a one of the view rooms, totally worth it. Eventhough, your a block from just about everything in the town of Banff, the view side is just the river and mountains, so you get a great location but still feel secluded.

Great little hotel.I enjoyed the close proximity of the mall and shops! Please note you are charged $1.00 EVERY TIME you call from your room for local calls or just to use a calling card. Also, the stairs had a really bad odor.
“It was a good lodge..”
The lodge has beautiful scenary around it. The hot tube (SPA) is very good to relax your trip. The kitchen facility is convenient to prepare food. The rooms were clean and comfort.

i stayed there with my husband for 4night 5days. it was confortable. because the lodge was located two blocks away from main street and there was shuttle bus to ski mountain around there. of course it was walking distance. Actually we rent a car, but we didnt use that much. if you wannt to look around that area such as hot spring or vista point you will need just two or three days. but if you stay there only for ski, you won't need a car.
