“Nice hotel, would stay here again”
Great lil hotel. Looks nice inside, rooms are nice as well. Comfy beds. Some have a small balcony although the one we stayed in didn't. We were able to open the window which was nice since it was a little warm at night, I like a nice cool room to sleep in. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms may be small to some but I thought they were big enough. When we stayed there, there was a shuttle that went to all the major ski hills around Banff that stopped about two (short) blocks away, every day, which was very convenient. The continental breakfast was pretty good, they had some danishes and strudels, toast, bagels, fruit, and yogurt. Unfortunately people in a room down the hall were quite noisy, though we phoned the front desk and they quickly dealt with it. Also, there is a sauna and whirlpool downstairs which is nice after a long day of skiing. If you're a fitness buff they have a bike, a treadmill, and an elliptical but that's it. Also if you need to use internet on your laptop they have free wi-fi, although it was a pain to use with my phone as it kept asking me to log in again.
The parking garage under the hotel was great because there isn't a lot of space for parking in Banff. Lots of rooms for SUVs and trucks although I drove a small car. Elevator goes right down to the garage. I felt safe keeping my skis and gear in my car.
Overall, it's a nice place and I'll be staying here again next year.
