Nice hotel

Posted Jan 22, 2015
Pros: The staff and the room but not its proximity to the street
Location: Very close to shopping, dining and parking
Great hotel, enjoyed the complimentry breakfast and the staff were very nice. My only complaint would be that our room was noisy due to the proximity to the street. There is a bar across the street which we could hear the music till about 1 am. Early the moring all we could hear was traffic, garbage trucks and Bobcats. I would suggest staying in one of the interrior rooms if you want quiet. Overall the location is very handy for shopping, dining and parking.

Decent hotel for stay in Banff

Posted Jan 21, 2015
Cons: Decor
As long as you aren't expecting luxury, this hotel is suitable for a stay in banff. Affordable, close to many restaurants, not too noisy. I would stay again.

Thank you for taking the time to send us your feedback. The Brewster Family is proud to honour over a century of western tradition by providing our guests with accommodations in the heart of downtown Banff. Handcrafted, custom made log furnishings, western décor, historic photos from the Brewster Family archives and cowboy art define the interior of the lodge. Great Lodge

Posted Jan 13, 2015
Pros: Location, decor, comfort.
Cons: The climate control in the room was the only negative. It was hard to regulate, either too cold or too hot by moving the thermostat just a little bit.
Location: A very short walk to Banff Ave where you find several restaurants, shops, and transit. Bus #1 takes you to the gondola in about 15 minutes.
This hotel is aesthetically appealing, quiet, and close to public transport, shops and restaurants. The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. Together with the WiFi it made you feel more like at home rather than in a hotel room. There are a lot of sitting areas in the lobby and a nice breakfast room. Also a locker room for skis and snowboards conveniently located in the parking garage with easy access from the lobby. Staff is friendly.

Great location right downtown in Banff. Hotel was slightly dated but very clean and extremely helpful staff. Beds could be more comfortable for the price. Overall a great visit.

Perfect hotel for a Banff stay

Posted Jan 9, 2015
Pros: More than reasonably priced underground parking, location, clean well equipped spacious room, traditional styling, free wifi, good value for money.
Cons: Nothing considering its price bracket
Location: Bars & restaurants and the town. Short drive or by transit to Sulphur Mountain / hot springs. Dont ski, but ideal for the local mountains too.
Wonderful location right in the center of Banff, very short walk to the restaurants which is great when it -21 outside. $5+tax overnight parking well worth it to park underground and avoid all the scraping and warming up you vehicle in the morning. Saw some negative reviews about the breakfast prior to booking, certainly wont set your morning on fire but better than many similarly priced hotels and more than adequate to set you up for the day considering its complimentary, unless you are going to do some hard skiing maybe. Very nice well kept rooms and general areas, though a little bit of a maze finding your way around.

Noisiest hotel in Banff!

Posted Dec 29, 2014
Pros: Location. In the core of the Banff townsite
Cons: Noise! Ventilation! Amenities!
Location: Townsite
We overnight in Banff about 25 times a year, so we know almost all the hotels. We use Expedia to decide where the best rates are. This hotel is by far the noisiest hotel in Banff. You can hear everything that's going on in the rooms next to you, across from you and above. We've stayed here in the summer -- warning, there's no air conditioning. This stay was in the winter, just after Christmas, so the room availability in Banff was limited, and the rates really high. So we thought we'd give this hotel another chance. There is no way we'd stay here again, cheaper rates or not. We'd encourage you to think twice!

Thank you for taking the time to send us your feedback. We apologize that we weren't able to meet your expectations and for any excessive noise you may have experienced while here. Due to our location it can get a bit noisy during peak times in Banff when activities and events are taking place downtown. Please don't hesitate to request a quiet room prior to arrival and we will do our very best to accommodate this. We hope to welcome you back in the near future. Wishing you a safe and happy New Year! Kind Regards, Staff & Management

スタッフの接客もよく、この値段帯では良いチョイスです。

Posted Dec 23, 2014
Pros: 立地とスタッフの接客
Cons: 部屋のアメニティ、レンジ、冷蔵庫、コーヒメーカーなどの設備
Location:
