No disappointmentsPosted Jul 10, 2014
Pros: Pool and hot tub--great, effective use of small space on the lower level of the hotel. Neat grotto feature with waterfall divided the pool & hottub.
Cons: Nothing. We paid for the convenience of being in Banff. Would likely stay in Canmore next go around--much better deals for much more lodging.
Location: Balkan Restaurant was outstanding--great food and great service. All of us--my wife and our eleven and fourteen year old--found something to like!
Well appointed room with excellent furnishings, comfortable bed and split bathroom (toilet and shower/tub were behind a pocket door with an additional sink, mirror and cosmetics counter outside the pocket door. View outside our first floor window was not appealing (neighbor's back yard), but there is little that the hotel could do about that given the location. Loved the pool and hot tub. Ten minute walk into center of town was lovely in nice summer weather. Plenty of street parking nearby outside of the hotel in the summer, too, so save yourself the $15 per day parking fee.

3 nights stayPosted Jul 7, 2014
Very friendly staff. Location is great as it's not too far from the centre of Banff and it's a lot quieter. Will stay again.

Very comfortable roomPosted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: Room was attractive, clean and comfortable.
Cons: Room temperature control was either slightly cool or slightly warm, with no in-between. Was not a major problem.
Location: Close location to local shops and restaurants. Probably 6-10 blocks from most popular places.
The room was lovely and comfortable. Felt like a retreat from the travel. Shops and restaurants in Banff are within walking distance. A particularly helpful staff member helped us with sites we should see and restaurant recommendations.

Can rely on the Delta name for everything I need and want while travelling. Child friendly too!

Best Resort I ever stayed in!Posted Jun 11, 2014
Banff Springs is a grand hotel nestled between the Rocky Mountains. Staff call it 'The Castle' and it is exactly that. The views are outstanding! Especially from the BBQ Patio just outside the Rundell Lounge. It is over 100yrs old and you can just imagine guests of long ago wandering the same halls you do. The rooms have 10ft ceilings and are simply decorated, but classy. Our bathroom seemed recently renovated with granite counters. Service was excellent and the food impeccable. I highly recommend this hotel/resort if you are looking for a pampered get away.

Very nice hotel, a bit far from downtownPosted Jun 9, 2014
Location: A bit far to downtown
Very nice but expensive. I had reserved through an online site which did not save money ani I would have been better off doing it in person after arrival

Reasonable hotel close to the centre of BanffPosted Jun 8, 2014
We stayed for 4 nights as part of our 30th Wedding Anniversary celebration. The staff on arrival were excellent and provided us with champagne and chocolates in our room. The location was very good with just a short walk into the centre of Banff and with stunning views of the mountains. Also particularly liked the mineral pool and spa. Disappointed with the size of the room which was dated and having to pay for parking. Overall, this hotel was slightly over priced but would recommend for location and leisure facilities.

Handy location, right on the main roadPosted Jun 2, 2014
Pros: Clean. Convenient.
Cons: Room size was quite small. Tub was shallow.
Location: Very close (walking distance) to Banff downtown and all amenities. Yet far enough out so as not to be overly busy. Saw lots of wildlife close by.
Easy to find, quick and simple to register. Parking was good (but extra $).
