Great hotel beneath the mountains!

Excellent, new, clean and modern room. Great little kitchen that was well stocked. The bed was super comfy with great sheets and pillows. There was even a bbq on the balcony! Very good housekeeping kept the room clean and the staff are friendly enough but leave you be, which was actually quite nice. Would definetly stay here again!

Great spot for romantic stay over with husband. We upgraded to one bedroom and it was worth the extra space. We didn't think we needed the kitchen, but it was nice to chill wine , snacks and breakfast items. Next time we stay we might even eat in.

Cons: No Ipod Ability to the TV.
Staff was eager to help when we wanted to know where things were in the town. It was Rainy and indoor parking was also quite nice. In room kitchenette appliances all worked excellently.

Pros: Location, price, views
They upgraded us to us to a nicer suite and had a bunch of extras for our welcome. Great room and views, would definitely stay again

Pros: Quiet
Cons: No was no really asking for anything more
Location: We had no plans of doing anything, food coffee and relax
Did not do much beside relax, but was exactly as we wanted

Beautiful room, too Hot, But can be fixed!

Pros: Beautiful room, and I would feel very comfortable entertaining friends who have their own homes in Canmore, as the kitchen & dining table were great.
Cons: Turn off the pilot light for the fireplace, as it overheats the room.
Location: X-Country ski, hike, snowshoe, fat bike, mountain bike at Nordic Centre. Rental store on sight. Downhill ski, hike, bike Kananaskis & Banff area.
We stayed for 4 nights Jan 15-18, 2015. It was well stocked with dishes, pots/pans, cutlery, etc. Nice dining table to seat 6 comfortably if you had company. There are only 4 chairs, but you could request a couple of more if you needed them. It's like a small new kitchen with granite tops. Nice. BUT the pilot light on the fireplace was on, and compared to my own that is inconspicuous, at FC the flame was the size of an adult's fist and it was throwing off heat. So even if you had your furnace turned down to 14C/57F the room would get really warm to 26C/78.8F. It was too warm to sleep, so at night we slept with the patio door opened about 12 inches to allow a nice cool breeze. Fortunately the temperature outside was around -0C/32F, not -40C/-40F. If it were too cold (normal winter temperatures) then it would have been too cold to have the patio doors open. Having said this, on the last morning while checking out, I was asked if any problems, so I mentioned it. The desk clerk told me they could have had someone come up and turn off the pilot light. It renders the fireplace useless, but no buggy, we weren't in the room to use it anyways. Beyond the warm room, it was first class! Oh, early evening Thurs night having the patio doors open was quiet. Fri evening Calgarians arrived with their families and were having a great time in the pool. So Fri & Sat evenings it was loud with the patio doors open until around 10 pm, when maybe the pool closes? Excellent experience overall.

Great Hotel! Perfect for a ski vacation

This place is very clean and well run. Staff were helpful in telling us about ski conditions and where the best places to eat were. The heated underground parking is a bonus as it keeps your gear safe and warm. I only take points off for the bed as I found it a little hard and uncomfortable. Other than that a fantastic stay.

Awesome hotel!!

Pros: I loved the underground heated parking, the balcony with a BBQ, the kitchen, all the space, just basically everything.
Staff was great! Room was amazing! Definitely would go back. I gave a few people planning to stay there in the next few months.

Nice place for a get-a-away

I have stayed here plenty of time. Always great staff, clean rooms with nice amenities such as a fire place and soaker tub. Kitchen is well equipped and BBQ is nice to have always. The Outdoor hot pools do it for me. Completely change your stay for the better!
