Nice hotel. Clean and close to everything

Posted Mar 3, 2015
Pros: Close to everything and clean.
Cons: The TVs are both on the same cable box. Put a second box in the second bed area.
Location: Lots of great restaurants within blocks of the hotel.
It's a nice hotel that's clean with pleasant staff. Cheap breakfast with a pool. It is very close to the railway though and that can be quite loud during the night, but after a while you get used to it.

A great family get away

Posted Mar 2, 2015
We had some issues just after we checked in because, though it was a non smoking room, the person in the adjoining room was smoking. The front desk quickly moved us to another room with no issue. Rooms are very comfortable and the pool /waterside is great! Breakfast was a small fee above but very affordable! Will be back again!

Great hotel in walking distance to downtown.

Posted Mar 2, 2015
Awesome hotel, great experience except for the rooms with adjoining doors. Not very sound deadening, and the people beside us were up until 5am talking, could hear it clear as day! Otherwise beautiful room, awesome bed, very clean. Would def recommend this hotel. Great location for walking to and from downtown instead of driving.

Nice hotel in the mountains

Posted Mar 2, 2015
Pros: The bed and pillows were comfortable
Cons: updates to the bathrooms
Location: There are a lot of stores in the area and not far from Banff.
This hotel is ok it needs some new updates but overall it was ok. We stayed in the back of the hotel and through out the night the trains were running, it may bother soem people but we didn't mind it because there was a spectacular view of the mountains. The breakfast in the morning cost $5.99 but was well worth it, a lot of different choices and all you can eat.

Enjoyed our 3 night stay in Canmore

Posted Feb 25, 2015
Pros: We enjoyed the mountain view from our window, the pool area and close proximity to good restaurants, grocery stores and downtown shopping.
Canmore is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by snow capped mountains. From the hotel it was an easy walk to downtown and easy drive to hiking trails, hot springs, skiing ...

A Great Family Weekend Stay

Posted Feb 18, 2015
We would stay at this hotel again. Great value and convenient location. The pool is a little small but kids still enjoyed it and the waterslide. The King Bed + Sofa room was well suited to our needs. Staff was friendly.

Dissatissfaction overall

Posted Feb 16, 2015
Pros: nothing.
Cons: The entire facility shall be upgraded or the hotel should re-qualified as a 2 start at the most.
Location: ok
This hotel was suppossed to be a 3 star rated hotel but my family and I felt as it was a 1 star only. Noises of other guess throughout the night, dated facilities, small pool, smelly breakfast area. We will not go back to this place ever again. For the price we paid ($167 dollar / night on Feb 13th) we for sure were expecting more.

Quick overnight

Posted Feb 14, 2015
Pros: The bed and the price!
Location: We were only there for a quick overnight stay, but there was a Safeway right next door if we would have needed anything.
The room was wonderful. We checked in and by the time we drove around, the playpen and rollaway bed we had requested were already in the room. The breakfast was great - even if it wasn't free, it was a great selection for a small price. The room had been recently upgraded and even the sofa bed was comfy!
