“Extremely satisfied”
The waterslide in the pool was a great bonus for the kids. I stayed in the railroad side. The noise didn't bother me.
“Nice, Clean Ramada”
I liked this Ramada Inn with the interesting building style. The hotel had an outstanding buffet breakfast with scrambled eggs, saugage, waffles, pancakes, yougart etc. in a chalet style room.
“Best Motel of Our Tri[”
I was a little worried because this hotel we much cheaper than any other hotel we stayed in the Canadian Rockies. To our pleasant surprise, this cheapest motel was the best we stayed in on our trip. We have stayed in Ramada many times but I think I have to rate this as the nicest Ramada we have stayed in. The room was spotless, roomy and had very nice decor. We had a refrigerator, microwave, safe, coffepot and all else we would need. The only problem we had was that the second night the refrigeator was not cooling. We did not report that until we checked out because we really didn't need it the last night. It is only a short drive to Banff National Park and the other sites in this area of the Canadian Rockies
“Canmore's Ramada Inn”
We really enjoyed our stay at the Ramada Inn. We especially enjoyed the hot breakfast which is much better than most hotels give.
“Great stay.”
A very clean and comfortable hotel. The website did not let me down, I agree with all the other comments. I have never had such a nice free breakfast at a hotel before, wonderful food. (we found food in Canada much more costly than in the US so this was a real bargain) When we first tried to book a room, all that was left was a king sized bed & sleeper sofa. We didn't need that much room for the 2 of us, but was so glad we had it. I hate having to sit on a bed to watch TV, here we had a comfortable sofa, fridge, microwave plus cupboard fulled with dishes & etc. WONDERFUL!! It was easy to find and there a 2 grocery stores within walking distance. I know some people complain about the trains (we had railside) but I had no problem with that. If we ever get to the Banff area again, this would be my first choice of a hotel. Out of the 6 hotels we stayed at on our trip, this was one of the best!!
“Can accommodate groups or individuals”
A most pleasant stay for a total of three nights. Two on the way to Banff and one on the way from Jasper. Breakfast was awesome. Room was very roomy and well kept. The refrigerator and microwave were an added bonus.
“Needs maintenance and updating”
First, the parking lot was in bad condition. Rain water didn't drain (even though it hadn't rained in awhile) and caused flooding. Also, several bad ruts and potholes. The furniture in the room was old and needed updating and much needed maintenance. Cabinets drawers were broken, the sink was cracked, carpet and other furniture was stained, and the blankets had numerous moth holes. Also, if your room is at one far end of the hotel, you can park at the end and exit the hotel but you can't re-enter. You must re-enter at the other end. They need a door with a card reader. so guests can enter or exit. We wouldn't recommend this hotel as one of value or comfort.
