Comfy hotel in a beautiful location.

Posted Jun 26, 2015
The hotel is being refurbished and both bedrooms and bathrooms are luxurious! It's great to have coffee makers in the room for early starts! The location is spectacular and it is only five mins to walk to all the shops, bars and restataurants. The access to All attractions is so easy and we will certainly return for aonger stay next time!

good for 1 night stop

Posted Jun 25, 2015
this hotel is on the main strip a couple of blocks from the restaurants and bars. it is fine for a one night stop over in Banff. Clean, but dated.

The parking needs to be improved, outdoor spots way too narrow and the underground was difficult to monouver in. The rooms need updating. There was a stain on the carpet in our room and the sink needed to be replaced. Breakfast was ok, a wee bit conjusted because it was stuck in the corner. Lobby staff were pleasant and helpful.

Good location

This hotel is good location in Bunff National parks. But even though front office is under a lottle bit construction, it did not look clean and good. We needed towel at hot tub.

Red Carpet Inn

Posted May 3, 2015
Pros: Close to Banff Aveune
Cons: Customer service, efficiency, and professionalism. Wifi connection
Location: Downtown, shopping, restaurants, pubs, and mountain view.
I was very disappointed with an unexpected deposit of $100. The staff member working during this time of checking in was very rude. She told me to "just smile". I was going to use my partner's credit card number for the deposit as I had a cash budget. I was on the phone with him and she was interrupting my conversation with him. After I hung up she told me I couldn't use my "mommy's credit card". She treated me with disrespect. She assumed I was very young, as I look young. I am actually a professional that was in town for business. The cleaning staff was kind but inefficient. They never cleaned my room during the 3 days I was a guest. Check out went very well. The staff at this time were much more friendly and respectful.

Good price. Small bathrooms, comfortable beds. You get what you pay for, I guess.

Met all Expectations

Posted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: The room was a good size with a balcony. Very good value.
Location: Very good central location easy walking distance to everywhere.
I very enjoyed my stay at the Red Carpet Inn. Having come to Banff to attend a conference, location and value was very important. This hotel met all of my expectations. This being an older hotel just added to its charm and I very much enjoyed the balcony. The beds were very comfortable and I was very impressed with the abundance of pillows. This hotel offered excellent value with all of the amenities. I just wish I had time to enjoy the hot tub! I will certainly stay here again.

Never again

Posted Apr 15, 2015
The only good thing about this hotel is the customer service lady at the desk. She came in to fix our tv. The hotel is beyond repair. The mold in the bathroom is nasty and the beds had hair in there. Once again never again

Red carpet perfect location and comfortable

Posted Apr 12, 2015
Pros: The clean and beautiful rooms
Cons: A bigger hot tub as the existing hot tub only seats a few people.
The Red Carpet has cosy, clean, tidy, and cute rooms! It's walking distance to Banff's Main Street, and convenient parking and free wifi! The only downside is there is no breakfast, but that's why the rooms are so cheap! We just took our children to Tim Horton's!
