Good price and easy to deal with

Posted Dec 26, 2014
Pros: Over all value.
Cons: Hallway carpet
Location: Location was good
Here is the thing. People will complain about the worn out carpet in the hallways or the older style bed sheets. But for me, it was the best blend of low price/quality you can ask for. They casually gave me a Jacuzzi suite for the same price a regular room. They extended my stay over the phone. They lent me a wine bottle opener. The jacuzzi water was scorching hot. The tiling around it looks great. On the negative side, the internet wasn't working. But if you want everything perfect, don't go bargain hunting.

Can't Beat the Mountains in December

Posted Dec 10, 2014
My fiancé and I were looking for a little getaway to the mountains to unwind and spend some quality alone time. We stayed in the Jacuzzi suite and were very impressed. The room had been renovated (new tiles, bathroom fixtures, appliances) and was very clean and cozy. The front end staff were, for the most part, friendly and cordial. We would both highly recommend staying here if you want a peaceful retreat.

Quaint Mountain Hotel

Posted Dec 3, 2014
Not a bad experience by any means. The place could use some updating, the lino in the bath is old enough that it looks dirty, and the room had that " I have been smoked in" smell. For the price it was decent.

We needed a night

Posted Nov 17, 2014
Needed a quick and cheap place to stay for a night out in Canmore and this fit the bill. Aging facilities but it works. Had an issue with the heater in our room. Manager personally took care of it and even gave us a refund for the trouble. Room wasn't fancy but clean.

Cute motel but needs improvment

Posted Nov 11, 2014
Cute setting in Canmore. Great price, but facilities are going down fast. Dirty rooms, no care in the cleaning or upkeep. Overall disappointing, may as well pay a little bit more on a nicer place.

Decent hotel for the low price

Posted Oct 27, 2014
We were in a pinch and had to stay in Canmore for one night. The Rundle Mountain Lodge had the lowest price so we decided to stay. The people who worked at the front desk seemed very unprofessional and didn't care about much. The room was decent for the price. We were in a single room, which was tiny but cozy and clean, decent for a one night stay. We didn't get a chance to use the pool or hot tub but they seem like good features at a low cost.

Good value on the jacuzzi suite!

Posted Oct 17, 2014
Cons: A bigger TV.
Location: Everything is nearby!
I think this hotel is being rated awfully low... sure, there's no front desk after 10pm, but hey, Canmore isn't exactly huge! Really, where else are you gonna get a jacuzzi in your room, in a *resort* town, at the rates they're offering? The Best Western or Holiday Inn would have cost me another 60-70 bucks a night for a room with pretty much nothing but a bed... great place to stay if you're lookin' for a cheap romantic getaway!

Awful!!

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Beds are hard and musty smelling, bleach stains all over the carpet, and couldn't use the indoor swimming pool due to multiple flies on the bottom of the pool, floating on the top and on the rungs of the ladder to get into the pool.. The hot tub wasn't an option either as it had been drained which wasn't mentioned when booking or when picking up towels from the front desk..

Priced right.

Posted Oct 5, 2014
Pros: The price, the location and the staff
Cons: Get softer beds and spend a few bucks on a wife signal booster
Location: Very beautiful mountain location in Kanaskis country. Only a couple miles from Banff National Park.
We didn't spend a lot of money so I didn't have high expectations. Very good value as a hotel. Wife signal was very weak and often unusable, bed was hard, but hotel was about half the price of all the others.
