Excellent sTay aside from the fact that some dishes were dirty and there was not enough paper or kindling to start a proper fire

Old facility however clean and cozy

Pros: Coziness
Staff ok. The chalet was well equipped and we were able to have breakfast and cook some meals. Wireless internet was fast enough to watch movies.

Cheap hotel close to Canmore at a reasonable price

Posted Oct 15, 2014
I had indicated on the reservation were going to have multiple occupancies in the room. Apparently this was not sufficient enough to warrant extra linens and towels. Above that we were informed there were no clean towels. The shower curtain was mouldy. The breakfast they offer is small with a poor selection. Price is right if you're expectations are not too high. Just found the overall quality of service to be lacking. And the staff were not at all concerned about the deficiencies brought to their attention. Nothing was resolved.

Cozy but run-down and dirty.

Posted Oct 8, 2014
Pros: Convenient location and cheap price.
Cons: Almost everything.
Location: Close to Banff.
Two light fixtures didn't work. There was a used, dirty, moldy coffee packet left in the coffee machine. There were dirty cups and dishes put away in the cupboards. Although the mattress was comfortable, the bed frame felt like it would fall apart every time you moved. There was no paper or kindling and only one match left in the box for the fireplace.

It's not that cute as it looks..

Posted Oct 6, 2014
Cons: Clean the beds properly, and make sure they are no cob webs, or, at least charge the spiders for staying in the room.
I thought it was this cute little chalet... until we flipped back the covers... I couldn't count how many little hairs where in the bed.. and there were spider webs everywhere... We quickly returned the key and took off... We should have got our money back, but we were so disgusted... YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rundle ridge canmore

Posted Oct 6, 2014
Pros: Nice surroundings
Cons: See above
Sofa bed did not have sheets. Had to request and provided with two torn top sheets, dirty looking pillow case. Not enough towels or face cloths and grubby looking. No extra blankets. Not enough utensils, coffee pot unwashed. Sofa bed lumpy uncomfortable. Questionable whether bottom sheet on bed had been changed. Desk staff quite uninterested and did not ask about stay.

quick weekend trip

Posted Sep 15, 2014
Cons: change the mattress more often and add mattress covers. the mattress on the sofa bed was GROSS
cabin was cute! needed to ask for additonal bedding for the pull out sofa on arrival even though the reservation said 2 children and 1 adult and there was only one bed. lots of firewood available - staff was friendly. not the cleanest place I have stayed in but having said that I would stay again and would recommend to friends because it is just FUN to stay in a cabin and forget all about the 5 star hotels! the kids loved it! In the mountains, lots of outdoor walks and just close enough to town for eats and a change.
