Last room in town

Decent hotel, but not worth the cost. The beds need to be replaced it would of been more comfortable on the floor, and carpets were rotten with stains and the bathrooms were very dirty good thing we were only there for one night

Nice condo, convenient location

Pros: Great sized condo, good price, friendly staff
Cons: Insulation!
The condo itself was perfect for my needs but the fact that there is no insulation in the walls made for a not so good stay. The room next to mine was so noisy that I ended up sleeping on the couch instead of in the king size bed in the bedroom. The lobby closed at 11:00 so I didn't know who to call.

Nice unit with mediocre staff.

King Bed, Jacuzzi Tub, Fireplace, Kitchenette all plusses. Sofa bed really not for sleeping in. Small dining table and fridge. Room was just being cleaned at 430pm when we arrived back from Skiing so we sent them away. The price reflected the high season but I would not pay over $400 for two nights there again!

Pros: Only that it was in Canmore with proximity to Banff.
Cons: All misrepresentation could be alleviated.
Location: In spite of my disappointment with the accommodations, myself & my guests had a wonderful time in Banff horseback riding canoeing & riding the Gondola
The 2-bedroom suite had been advertised as having a mountain view, a balcony with barbecue & a fireplace with a jaccuzzi tub. We had the tub & fireplace, but the mountain view was available only by going into the master bedroom & craning one's neck where the very tips of two (2) crags were visible. There was no balcony or barbecue which messed with the menu for which I had already purchased the ingredients. When I inquired at the front desk, I was basically laughed at & informed that one gets EITHER a balcony & barbecue OR the jacuzzi tub. The whole thing left me with a bad taste in my mouth.

useless blank looks

Posted Aug 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
Recently stayed at this unfortunate "resort" with dodgy hallways, small parkade and staff that stared at you giving you blank looks when spoken to. The air conditioning unit did not work in the unit as promised and the solution was to give me a fan. The ignitor on the BBQ went out and the front desk lady said to me "you will have to come get the lighter and return it back to me".... ummmm "customer service at it bests". I don't get why the staff even worked there. We left the signs outside the door to have our bed made and rooms cleaned, nothing was done when we returned after 10. In anger i called the front desk and apparently the entire staff goes home at 10. I will never stay here and recommend all of you not to.

A good decent priced family accomidation

We always go for mini vacations with the kids to Canmore/Banff. We also always need a place with kitchen and 2 bedrooms. This was a good, decently priced place. It was clean, beds were comfy, and kitchen was well equipt. All that was missing is some salt and pepper. Also, there was no place to take out the trash too, so it stayed under the sink the entire weekend. Otherwise, a good overall stay.
