The guest experience matches the amazing views.Posted Feb 25, 2014
This was our second stay at the Rimrock and the hotel continues to impress. The premium room we had was nice enough, and the view impressive enough, to easily justified the price. Front desk and valet staff are consistently friendly and helpful. The only small complaint is that the service speed at Larkspur Lounge does not match the standard set elsewhere in this excellent resort hotel.

Great classic hotel.Posted Feb 23, 2014
Pros: The lobby area, gym, and hot pool
Cons: Parking is expensive if you don't park a block away at the hotsprings
Location: The location is walking distance to the historic Banff hot springs. The only hotel permitted there I believe. Buses are regular and free to downtown
I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights with my daughter. The location is breathtaking...in a forest near the natural hotsprings with beautiful views of the mountains. The staff is very classy and are dressed in 5 star outfits and valet parking is included if desired. The lobby sitting area is fantastic with big leather and cozy fabric sofas...around a huge limestone real fireplace. We loved the small ice rink where we curled and the gym and hot pool. I would highly recommend this classic hotel in Banff.

Nice but not specialPosted Feb 19, 2014
Beautiful lobby and bar but the room was average at best. The staff were very helpfull and friendly. We did not like the pool/hot tub area, it is not the cozy, relaxing environment you would expect in a mountain getaway.

Good location to hot springs but difficult to findPosted Feb 18, 2014
It was hard to find this hotel using gps and street signs but when I finally got there I was impressed by the proximity to upper hot springs. Room, staff and facilities were all of a very high standard.

weekend in BanffPosted Feb 18, 2014
Not a bad place however for the price you would think a few things like parking would be included. Nice view but the location is driving distance to everything. No walking to any where but the forest from here. Nice place, ok location, overpriced.....there are several other paces right in the town site I would consider trying before I come back to this place.
