Stayed in the separate cabinsPosted Oct 27, 2014
Loved our visit to banff and the tunnel mountain hotel/cabins we were right behind the big mountain and hill that had a little trail. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean! The view we had was amazing, the cabin we got didn't have parking but wasnt a problem for us. We will definitely be returning!! We didn't get the chance to eat the tunnel mountain resort, but the night out on the town was excellent !

Long weekend stayPosted Oct 14, 2014
Cons: State clearly that a 4 person unit is for a family with kids and not 4 adults.
Location: great for hiking, sightseeing in and around Banff
Hotel was in good location. Not too far from downtown, but still a quiet area. To get to our unit, # 162, we had to go down the stairs, up the stairs and a long corridor, quite a hassle with suitcases... To get into the unit, you had to go through the bedroom , which was a strange lay out. Also, this a separate bedroom, had no bedroom door and in the living room we had a pull-out sofa, not much privacy this way. This was a 4 person unit, but we had to pay extra for 2 adults!! Apparently, the 4 persons are a family with 2 kids, This should be made more clear when you book. The kitchen unit was good, well equipped and bathrooms were okay as well, though nothing special.

Good location. Dirty. Inappropriate bedding.Posted Oct 12, 2014
Pros: Friendly office staff, good location.
Cons: Do a thorough cleaning, make repairs as needed, provide appropriate bedding.
Location: Quiet location with very few amenities
No light blankets provided - only a very warm comforter which made for a hot sleep. Room was in need of repair and was dirty. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

Nice place, somewhat tired looking though!Posted Oct 7, 2014
Pros: close proximity to Banff without the hustle and bustle of being right in it.
Cons: As mentioned about - a bit "tired". Definitely should be more on the ball with respect to internet - given today's day and age.
Location: Close to the hot springs/banff town proper/gondola - basically everything was very easy to get to from the hotel.
Early check - in was given, even though it was not requested. Pleasant front desk staff - helpful for directions to the attractions we wanted to see. Room was large and spacious - with a nice sitting area. No wi-fi, which apparently they were having difficulties with, upon check-in - still no wi-fi when it was check-out time. Bed was comfortable - good housekeeping was apparent. My husband enjoyed the steam shower - again, unexpected, but a nice perk.

Pros: Rooms were nice.
We like Tunnel Mountain quite a bit except its right on the busy road. Would shave preferred they put us in a room that did not face the road.

Very disappointed.Posted Sep 28, 2014
Pros: Nice shower stall
Cons: Air conditioning
Location: Location is good. Not far from town
Arrived at hotel at 7pm and room wasn't made up and room wasn't what we were expecting. We were expecting a cabin but it was just a room with no view. Staff apologized and gave us another room in a lower level. Extremely loud air conditioner kept us awake all night. No restaurant either. For $187 a night very disappointing.

Romantic GetawayPosted Sep 22, 2014
Pros: The fireplace was what made the stay even better on the cool nights.
Cons: Everytime I went to go to the hottub, it was always closed for maintenance. We were out and about during the day, would have been nice to relax.
Location: Not too much in the area within walking distance, but a short drive from the shopping district, Fairmont Hotel, etc.
It was nice and cozy. Very quiet area. Away from the hustle and bustle of the main strip. Beautiful mountain backdrop.
