Expedia did not market true room details.

Posted May 25, 2015
The room marketed is a second bedroom off a suite. The room had no A/C, the toilet did not flush, minimal lighting and too small to bring luggage in. We checked out within an hour of checking in. The Ramada Inn down the road is more adequate for travelers from the States.

Nothing fancy, but good enough.

Posted May 22, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: No desk in the hotel room.
The hotel was located within walking distance of downtown. Strange configuration, seems to be a combination of condos/hotel units. The hot tub and hot breakfast were good. Room was small, but sufficient.

Overall nice but small room

It was an okay stay, nice room. But the light flickered all night, the lamp didn't work. Not a great sound barrier could hear everything in the halls.

Basic Room with great breakfast

Posted May 15, 2015
Pros: Good price, reasonable accommodation, and good filling breakfast.
Cons: Because the elevators weren't working, I got to see the stairways and back hallways - look quite worn. Bed was comfortable with crisp white linens.
Location: Good location in Canmore close to all mountain activities in Canmore and nearby Banff.
The room is very basic with a bed and two small tables. No desk or fridge. In-room coffee maker was great. Elevators only partially working while I was there. Breakfast was great with good hot and cold selection. Room is best as a home base for hiking or skiing activities in the mountains.

Nice on the outside, not inside

Posted May 11, 2015
Pros: staff were friendly.
Cons: size of rooms.
I expected the double twin room we got would have room to walk and have a lot more space than it did. The TV was mounted on the wall because the room was so tiny, and there was only one side table located closest to the bed near the window, so there was no place to put your items unless you were using that bed. Disappointed by the size of the room, and also disappointed that the bathroom looked old with rust around tub and shower head. The pictures made it seem so nice inside and outside but it was not. Very attractive hotel from the outside, but I think we could have got a nicer room for the same price somewhere else.

Not bad. Room is a bit too small and not clean enough. Worth for the price definitely.

close to the main highway

Posted May 9, 2015
Pros: the breakfast
Cons: lots.. staff need to be more informed and happier to assist. whole place needs upgrading.
hotel is in need of upgrading. luggage rack wobbly and disgusting. staff didnt seem to know how to turn off the flashing message button on the phone. or care. said i should be able to find the instructions somewhere on the phone, couldnt find any tv channels that didnt require a subscription. asked the front desk and was told the maintenance person would be right up. he came and said this was all they had and nothing he could do about it!!!..just keep looking and you will find something...... lights very dull in room. central light did not work. bathroom not clean. bathtub had foam stuck to the edges which we had to wash before we used it...plug in bathroom loose therefore unsafe.

The hotel screwed up our reservation then blamed it on us for booking through Expedia. They wanted us to sleep on two twin beds pushed together to make a "king" when we booked a queen. they said all the queen and king rooms were booked or dirty, finally after saying we weren't going to sleep on the "king" they miraculously found a queen room. There was also a apt dog next door. The room was very small but the view made up for the bad reception experience. Then at breakfast we didn't see the "please wait to be seated" sign as people were blocking it. We went and got our food then found a table after which we got scolded for not waiting to be seated. They ran out of sausage and bacon and the pancakes were hard as rocks. Glad we only stayed one night.
