“A great reasonably priced hotel”

A short walk from the BTS station and the main road with several good places to eat close by. Hotel is clean and some rooms have recently been decorated. Not in the luxury class but a very comfortable place to stay. The staff are friendly and normally helpful. Try to avoid rooms that face the car park as they can be a little noisy late at night and early morning. The pool is small and on the roof with little seating space so not really suitable for spending a long time in. Ideal for a quick dip to cool off.

“Great Hotel in the heart of Sukhamvit”

The staff are great and helpful. Nice breakfast and Gym. Easy to get food and essentials right outside. Close to Skytrain and Queen's Park. You won't have to look far for Pool bars and massage parlors. I would stay again.

“Great Stay”

I really like this hotel and especially liked the staff. They were extremely sociable, helpful, and professional. They strongly suggested the "Siam Niramit" show, which turned out to be unbelievable. Our room was very nice. It was one of the best we have ever stayed in. Many bars and restaurants are in close proximity. Heads up- you might see an elephant walking freely on this street in the evening.

“Good value for money”

Very good service apartment located a little bit inconveniently. It takes a long walk to the nearest BTS station. Actually, Soi 22, the street on which the apartment is located, is equidistant between Asoke and Phrom Peng stations. Taxis parked outside the hotels in this area (as well as anywhere in Bangkok, I guess) are interested in taking you only for shopping in certain establishments like gem galleries from which they receive gas coupons even if you don't buy anything. So, it is best to have the hotel hail a taxi for where you want to go. The staff at the apartment were extremely courteous and the receptionist once even walked outside with us to help us get a taxi. Breakfast is served at a cafe downstairs. You order from a set menu. Limited options, but food was generally okay. There are a lot of dining options around. The food gallery on the top floor at the nearby Emporium mall is very good, and not expensive. We stayed in a deluxe apartment. Quite spacious, well-furnished and very comfortable. Bathrooms have been recently updated.

“Excellent Value - Will Stay Again”

When I was trying to choose reasonably priced accomodation in Bangkok, it turned into something of a minefield. Everyone I saw, I checked the reviews to find horror stories of badly maintained hotels with all kind of insectlife. The Admiral Suites stood out as reasonably priced with good reviews. I arrived at the hotel at 9.15 am a little early for checking in, but they directed me to the cafe next door where I had a coffee and 20 minutes later, someone popped in to tll me my room was ready. The room was spotlessly clean, had a comfortable bed, plenty of TV channels, including ESPN so I didn't miss the Champions' League Final. A nicely appointed bathroom with a good shower. The room also had a safe and a small kitchen area with kettle fridge and microwave. It also had a small dining table and chairs and crockery and cutlery. The staff were helpful and always pleasant, whilst the location was excellent in Sukhumvit Soi 22 The hotel is between Phrom Phong and Asoke stations and really convienient. The cafe next door, where one issued with vouchers for breakfast was very pleasant and offers free internet access for patrons (max 1 hour per day). They serve all kinds of food from Thai to Burgers during the day up to 11pm and are very reasonably priced, and there is a Japanese restaurant by the hotel also.

“Great Find”

My stay at Admiral Suites was an unexpected delight & felt like a home away from home with the staff (front office, housekeeping, engineering) all being most charming & helpful. The location provides a little local colour on the doorstep with the convenience of the city so there's a wonderful sense of being a part of Bangkok rather than just staying in a hotel. Great basic food in the coffee shop & pleasant staff as well. Only one issue - the pillows were musty but that's my pet peeve.

“Great little Hotel”

I stayed at the Admiral Suites for three weeks. I'm a plain and simple kind of guy so it was more than I needed. If you're traveling by yourself and don't want to waste money on fancy hotels, then this is your place. The Parrot Cafe associated with the bar was very nice as well. Good breakfast and good drinks. If I went back to Bangkok, I would strongly consider staying there again. Friendly staff too!

“a comfortable place to stay”

We were picked up from the airport as arranged, taken to the hotel, where the staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The room was very comfortable, although the furnishings were a little tired. We had vouchers to take breakfast in the coffee shop next door, and there we could use the internet free of charge. It was conveniently situated between 2 Skytrain stations just off the Sumkivet Road, however, as these were over half Km away, if you were not able bodied, this might be a problem. Plenty of taxis around though. There was a good variety of restaurants nearby. All the main shopping areas are accessible from the Skytrain and many of the attractions too. Bedding and towels were changed everyday, the room was quiet, and although we didn't use the swimming pool or the Gym, they were available. We had a good time and would definitely use the Admiral Suites again. Excellent value for money.

“FGriendly staff with a nice location.”

The hotel was in a good location and the the room was clean. There was a large refrigerator and a balcony. I like to be on the street side to watch and hear the sounds of the city, and really enjoyed having a balcony. The breakfast was ok, and the staff very friendly.
