“Loved it”

This little hotel is an old house right in the middle of all the craziness in Bangkok and you won't feel like in a big town there. The staff are very nice and helpful and so are the owners. The vegetarian restaurant has amazing organic food and the whole place gives you a sensation of feeling at home...I'll definitely stay here again.

“Ariyasomvilla, a great hotel!”

The hotel was incredibly clean and the service was incredible. The only complaint would be the communication barriers on an occasion, but being a foreigner to Thailand, that should be expected. The owner made sure to greet every guest and ensure the stay was going well and if there was anything needed, he made sure his guest recieved it. The food at the hotel was good, a little overpriced, but a market with lots of good restaurants is minutes away on foot. The room was exceptionally spacious for a studio rental and one could not ask for a nicer washroom with all the ammenities included. I will definately be retunring in the future.

“Nice Oasis in the heart of Bangkok”

I booked this hotel as a result of other reviews and I can say I wasn't disappointed. It's not your typical commercial hotel. Instead, you feel like you are at home. I guess you can call it "home away from home". The staff is very friendly and attentive and the hotel is clean. Even though there's nothing on the road where the hotel is, it is just a 5 -10 min walk to the main road. Along the road leading to the main road are lots of massage shops - where I had a foot massage for 350 baht an hour - dead cheap. One thing to mention though is that our taxi driver had problems finding the hotel but eventually he did.

“An Excellent Escape in the Heart of Bangkok”

The owners certainly have done everything in their power to give guests a home away from home in a city that is fairly rough. Ariyasomvilla was once a large family residence, owned by the wife of the manager/owner's family, and they have renovated it as one imagines an old mansion might look, from a bygone time of oriental elegance. We rented two rooms, a studio for our son and a larger one for us, and both were lovely with beautiful woodwork and large windows. There was a nice library, an amazing, delicious vegetarian breakfast (included) with fresh fruit and fabulous coffee and options to eat or drink all day, if desired, on a large patio. We ended every day with a swim in their beautiful pool/jacuzzi. The only down side is the constant noise from water taxis that scream from dawn until 7:00 p.m. right behind the hotel garden/pool. So hard to get away from traffic in this over-populated metropolis! But if you want a taste of Thailand, rather than a purely Western hotel experience, this is it.

“oasis of calm”

arriving at this hotel you can feel yourself relax as soon as your in the gate. Itsa very hands on operation for the host and owners and it shows in the attention to detail. An excellent restaurant with an emphasis on gourmet vegetarian Thai, the beautiful gardens, large rooms furnished in a traditional colonial style, big pool in lush surrounds, purpose built sauna spa, you wont ever want to leave!

“Simply Wonderful”

I stayed at Ariyasomvilla for 4 nights in January 2011. I have travelled extensively all over the world and my stay at Ariyasom was just delightful. The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful, the food is delicious and some of the "little touches" were very much appreciated such as the freshly cooked breakfasts - no dried up buffet breakfast nasties ! I would not hesitate to stay at Ariyasomvilla again when next in Bangkok.

“Bangkok treasure”

We stayed at Ariysomvilla for 2 nights in April 2011 en route to Europe. Its a small hotel full of character and far removed from the high rise international hotels that could be found anywhere. Service was great, Meals were good. Room was absolutely lovely. Bathroom was a work of art.We felt very welcome. We requested transfer from the airport and that was a good choice - it is at the end of a small alley and could be hard to find. The location is quite cnetral and off one of the main streets. We had organised a guide and driver for our 2 days and that made getting around Bangkok much easier. The guide had not heard of Ariysomvilla before but was very impressed. I also had a massage in the spa and that was a good experience. The only negative was mosquitoes - but they do provide repellent.

“A great place to stay”

We found this hotel a really beautiful place to stay. The only disappointment we had is that we only stayed one night. The staff here were the most helpful, courteous , knowledgeable and happy which we encountered in 3 weeks and 4 other places we stayed. We are not vegetarians but regardless the food was beautiful. Pretty close to the sky train and very accessible. Only small ire was there are quite a lot of mosquitos in the outdoor eating area, but they supply repellent so just get some on before heading out

“Relax and Unwind at the ARIYASOMVILLA”

A wonderful oasis in the middle of Bangkok where you can chill out with a smoothie or a beer enjoying the pool and wonderful garden that this delightful hotel offers. The food is interesting, no meat and at times VERY hot and spicey. However it's all delicious and well worth a visit if you need a day or two to relax and unwind
