“Mindful and Respecting”

I purchased an air and Hotel package with the intent of only being in Bangkok for Five days and ended up staying for over Two weeks at the Bannk Hotel. From the first moment at check-in I received a polite attention to any details that I had. I was tired from a 23 hour flight and nearing my endurance limits. I was treated kindly and with out any feeling of being obligated to assuming a role of serving up gratuities to the Hotel staff. After a long night sleep and a few days of "decompression" I was abide with realization that the Baan k was very unique. These people really cared and there was calmness that I could tap into.If I had a request , I was served fully.If I needed direction it was with ease provided. For those who are adventurous and out going help is to be found here. I struck a relationship with with a fellow who was on night watch named Chaiya nicknamed (A) . Although limited in being able to speak English, he was loyal and Honest with assisting me with my transportation needs when on shift. We became friends quickly. The cleaning staff is efficient and trustworthy. The room I stayed in was very forward in modern and calming with a nice balance between Neuvo Shaker and Upscale modern simplicity, all very tasteful. I will return to this "Family" when I am doing Business in Bangkok in the future. For the experienced traveler I ould challenge you to find better on the first shot.

Walking distance from Silom, free wifi, endless food choices: restaurants, sidewalk dining. What's not to like? One downside though. The glass sliding door between bedroom and living room needs a marker. I bumped into it twice,

The staff were polite and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. The General Manager was true to his word and had impoved the quality of the breakfast as we were not dissappointed as some earlier people had been. It didn't have the biggest selection, but we were happy with what we received for the price.

Friendly welcoming staff, looked after throughout our stay. Upgraded on check in - superb accommodation. Laundry all done and very, very resonable price. Breakfast choice is limited but staff always on hand to refresh the breakfast table.
