Good quality, centrally located hotel in SukhumvitPosted May 14, 2014
Pros: The rooms are a very good size and worth asking for a pool view. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect to explore Sukhumvit.
Cons: The bathrooms are very dated and in need of refurbishment. Pool are also old and dated but Aun who works on the pool bar is very friendly and helpfull
Location: Shopping and markets on Sukhumvit road. Easy to hop on Sky train and travel to Siam Square, river area or the Grand Palace
I had a good stay at the hotel. The rooms are very comfortable, perhaps could do with a little more furniture to make it more homely. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and eager to help. Breakfast is pretty good with a wide range of European and Asian cuisine available. The hotel has a good size pool and a small gym as well. The location is ideal to explore Sukhumvit and the Nana Sky train station is a 5 minute walk so it is very easy to explore all over Bangkok. This area may not be suitable for small children as it is close to the red light district, at the end of the road there are working girls plying their trade all day long. On the whole I would say this is a fairly good standard four star hotel - certainly there are better 4 star hotels in Bangkok but none offer such exceptional value. I would happily stay here again.

Good hotelPosted Apr 20, 2014
Pros: Helpful and couretos staff
Cons: The bed mattresses should be better.
Location: Near Sukhumvit road, MBK mall which is a 20-25 minutes drive is very good.
I was there for 1 night at Hotel Bel Aire from April 12, 2014 to Apr 13, 2014. The staff at the recpetion was co-ordial and the check-in process was smooth and completed in 15-20 mins. The rooms were clean and well maintained although I must say that the bed mattresses could have been of better quality. The hotel is located in a by-lane close to Sukhumvit road. Considering that it is in a bylane, hence teh windows open up to the by lanes and the not so very well maintained neighbourhood. I had booked one bedroom with an extra bedding, but later booked another room and could hence move my daughter to the newly booked room without the need for an extra bedding. The hotel management could have been accomodating in either refunding the amount or adjusting this amount against possible other expenses since I never availed of the extra bedding. I must also mention that the lady managing the travel counter next to the recoption was very helpful in arranging for cabs especially when too many were not availbale due to the Songkran festivities in Thailand. Overall a good experince in the hotel,

Excellent hotel.Posted Mar 13, 2014
Pros: A nice friendly place and not too ostentatious.
Cons: All is ok, but the "Water Cooker" (a type of Kettle) in the rooms is not very good, so early morning Tea is a bit of a problem!!
Location: Location is tucked away down Soi 5 from Sukhumvit Road, which is one of the main roads into the City. Nearby is a 7/11 General Store and Restaurants.
Very nice welcome from the staff on duty at 2am, when I arrived. The room was ready and nice and clean. The food is top quality, with a good hearty breakfast you can book as an extra with the room. The rest of the day from 10am until 11pm, they serve a very good international menue. Everything from lovely Thai food to Fish and Chips or Spag Bol, all at reasonable prices and served by a cheerful and considerate staff. There is a very good Roof Top Swimming Pool and Sun Loungers, as well as a cheery Pool Man to take your Drinks and Food Orders, open from 10am until 7pm. There is a desk in the lobby where you can book some excellent trips and a Bar for Drinks and Coffee/Tea. All in all a good place to stay, if you don't want to wander far, but you can get to Shopping Malls, etc by Taxi or Rail.

Nice hotel but close to the red light districtPosted Jan 29, 2014
Location: Interesting Arabic area - great restaurants and male pampering salons!
Lovely staff, great food, nice pool - all was perfect! Families should be warned, though, that this area, Nana, has many seedy bars/pick-up joints, as well as sex toys for sale on the street market stalls, so you might want to have a couple of responses ready for your inquisitive 5-year-olds...

Excellent locationPosted Jan 22, 2014
Pros: The location
Cons: possibly the rooms could be updated
Location: The location is excellent, in the middle of bars and restaurants. Short walk from the sky train and entertainment areas. Lots of hustle and bustle.
We have been back to this hotel at least 4 times, the staff are always polite and friendly. We have always been happy with the cleanliness of the rooms and found the breakfast excellent. The location of the hotel is brilliant for exploring Bangkok, there are loads of bars and restaurants within a stones throw and the skytrain is just a short walk away. Maybe the rooms could do with updating but for the price and location I think it is good value.

Excellent convenient location, wonderful hotel.Posted Dec 7, 2013
Pros: Great value for money, perfect location and friendly staff.
Stayed in a Club Tribecca Room for 5 nights and really can't think of one negative. This was my first time in Bangkok and I thought this was a perfect location, close to restaurants, markets and the BTS station which made moving around the city so easy. The hotel staff were all pleasant and helpful and the room was large, clean and had everything you want. Breakfast was excellent everything from cereal, fruits, hot food, egg station and breads. Wi-fi was super fast and the pool area was nice for a quick cool down. I would highly recommend staying in a Club Tribecca room, this provided free soft drinks and water throughout the day in your room and free nibbles and drinks including wine, beer and some spirits from 5pm to 7pm daily.
