nice hotel close to phaya thai airport rail

Posted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: clean and big room...
Cons: air con sometimes can be very loud, water flow and water heater was not too good, water either gets too hot or too cold...cant seems to keep the temp.
Location: eating street food....
hotel was close to the airport rail, can walk from airport rail phaya thai to the hotel. however hotel was slight far from the pratunam area and need some walking or taking the shutter by the hotel. The road outside was alittle dark to walk if its too late and the lack of a convinence store outside hotel was a little dampening...

Hotel close to Phaya Thai & Prantunam market

Posted Jul 25, 2014
Pros: Room cleaniness and comfort is there for you. The reception area is decorated nicely and do not forget about the free tuk-tuk service.
Cons: Toiletries?
Location: Just walk 5 mins out and you reach the popular pratunam market.
Check in and check out was fast:) On top of that where our flight is late after our check out, we are able to put our luggages at the luggage room before we go for more shopping. Breakfast for the hotel was so-so, not much variety but good enough to satisfy your hunger. Personally, I do not really like the toiletries provided as is not the kind of soapy foam I like. Nonetheless, it is free so cannot really complain too much. Hotel's room was clean and of good condition. Overall experience was Great!!!! Will definitely recommend those coming bangkok to try out this hotel.

Hotel with a personal touch

Posted Jun 12, 2014
Pros: Spacious and hotel staff very friendly
Cons: Better toiletries.
Location: Near shopping paradise for the ladies.
When family checked into this hotel we were worried as it was quite a distance away from the main road. The receptionist soon took our worried away by telling us that the Hotel provides free Tuk Tuk service round the clock :)

great location AWSOME FREE tuktuk service!!!!

the hotel is located very close to the market and bangkok's tallest hotel as well as a duty free shopping complex. the free tuk tuk service is great!! they take you around to the close by shops late at night, to the market when you need and they even took me to the main road (5-7min walk which is hard when you have luggage) when i was leaving and all for FREE..the room was very clean and the stuff were quite friendly. the food is reasonably priced and they have specials which is posted in the elevator and the restaurant. its a 15-20 min walk from the skyrail station which brings you around there from the airport and its the best and cheapest way to get to this place as it only cost 40 baht compared to the taxis which charge around 300-400 and forget the tuk tuks because they dont travel that far on the highways. overall it exceeded my expectations in every way specially with the low price i paid. highly recommended and will defiantly book again next tie im in bangkok.

Very nice family hotel

I stay at Best Western Mayfair Hotel, Pratunam, Bangkok for two nights. It is only 10 minutes walking distance from hotel to Pratunam Market and about 15 minutes to Platinum Mall. The room is clean and lovely. The staff are friendly. Pat thai (Thai food) from the hotel cafeteria very nice. I will definitely stay there again for next Bangkok trip.

valued and nice hotel

Posted May 28, 2014
Pros: i like the bed which is very comfortable to sleep on. i like the tiles of the room as it feels more hygiene than carpet.
Cons: the water drainage of the bath tub is slow and seem stuck. need to do some maintenance on it.
Location: location is excellent.quiet frm the main road. convenient store, massage place, local delicacies, pharmacy, shopping mall, fast food chain, bts nearby
i book this hotel early in the morning before flying to bangkok due to the coup. my reservation was confirm instantly. i check-in in the late evening without any hassle. free tuk tuk service to the main road is a plus point for this hotel as it is located slightly out from the main road. 5 mins walking distance to phaya thai bts. we can walk from the main road or platinum mall with no hassle at all. nearby massage place, convenient store make this hotel a good choice to to stay.
