Bhiman Inn is near Khao San Road but far enough to have peace and quiet at night to sleep. The room was spacious and clean, unlike others that are so cramped for space. It has basic TV, Thai channels & BBC news in English, towels, comfy bed, mini-fridge, hot water, and a nice hotel restaurant. Across the street is a cute little cafe that has fabulous Thai omlettes. Bhiman Inn provided us 2 new bottles of water each day and cleaned our room daily. The pool is clean although small and in a shaded area so make sure to swim before it gets too cold at night! The best part is the location. Just a 7 min. walk to the Pier 13 Phra Arthit, to board the daily boats going up and down the Chao Phraya River, 15 Baht one-way. The cheapest and most fun way to travel locally to see all the sights Grand Palace, Wat Arun, Wat Pho. Too bad the wi-fi did not work in our room (3rd floor), so I had to use my phone in the lobby. It is close to a 7-11 convenient store, so we could buy snacks and bottled water. The lobby is really small and often, no one is at the counter. They will arrange your mini-bus transport back to the airport (BKK or DMK) for a good price (150 bahts per person to DMK airport). To get from BKK airport to Bhiman Inn: We took the airport rail link that was super fast to the final stop (Phaya Thai, 45 Baht per person). Then we took a taxi, right outside of the Phaya Thai station (130 Baht). The taxi driver's English was poor, so I told him Bhanglampu and we found it.
