“One of the best of the Centre Point chain”
A one-bedroom apartment, with its usable kitchen, abundant natural light and 2 t.v. sets - one in the living room, one in the bedroom - is about the best accommodation you'll find in the Sukhumvit area for the price. Pool and breakfast both above average. It may be deep in the soi but I did not find the walk to the main road very onerous and the free tuktuk shuttle is always available. I f you walk a few metres to the other end of the soi you will find access to the refreshing Benjakitti Park with its large lake and, surprisingly, the start of a raised walkway and cycleway that goes all the way to Lumphini Park. Unfortunately our room (9011) had a faint but lingering smell of urine, not immediately noticeable and hard to pinpoint - most probably some child had peed on a seat cushion or something and it would be unfair to downgrade the overall housekeeping and maintenance score of the hotel because of that. Staff are always helpful and courteous. Large bottles of additional drinking water were supplied at a cheaper price than 7-Eleven! Prices in minimart are not unreasonable for most items. Hotel seems to attract quieter-behaved guests, not rowdy drunks. Many bus routes nearby (get a bus route map) as well as BTS. A good stay.
