“Great view of the river”

We had a great view of the river and it was romantic to go out on the balcony to watch the barges and long tail boats pass by. The food at the restaurant was great and the surrounding neighborhood had cute little shops selling all the exotic things you go to Bangkok to buy.

This was a great experience staying at this hotel. After 3 weeks holidays in Thailand and staying at the most expensive hotel on Phi Phi island, we could easily compare the service we have been offered here as 5* or even 6*. From the moment we arrived we were treated in a very polite way and check-in was very fast. When we entered our room we couldn't expect more, this was a great room with all the facilities, including slippers and bathrobes. In the bathroom there was both bath and shower... everything perfect. Breakfast was the best we had in Thailand and we travelled a lot. Finally, we had amazing check-out. Normally it is at 12pm, but we were given late check-out at 2pm... however, as we were out in the morning, we only arrived back to our hotel at 1:55 and asked if we can have another hour, to shower etc. so they let us have the room until 3pm! This was outstanding customer service! Also, location was serene, but not that far from all the transport. When we booked we thought it's far away, but actually it's a great location, coz there's a free boat to Skytrain and other boat trains. Again, amazing! and I can assure you, you wouldn't want to stay in Bangkok China Town in a hotel there, too busy! This location was perfect and extremely beautiful, trully luxurious experience!!! Don't even hesitate, this is a great place to stay for an excellent price!

“HIGHLY RECOMMEND”

LOVED MY STAY AT CHATRIUM SUITE. FROM MY ARRIVAL I WAS MADE WELCOME BY ENGLISH SPEAKING STAFF. ANSWERS TO MY MANY ENQUIRIES WERE ALWAYS MET WITH ENTHUSIASM.NOTHING WAS TOO MUCH TROUBLE AND ALL THE STAFF WERE EQUALLY HELPFUL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. I WAS PARTICULARLY IMPRESSED WITH THE WELL MAINTAINED GROUNDS AND POLITENESS OF ALL THE STAFF. BREAKFAST BUFFET WAS LAID ON EVERY MORNING. THE CONVENIENCE OF THE RIVER BOATS RIGHT AT THE FRONT.

From arrival to departure the service and accommodation at this hotel was 1st class and to a very high standard staff went out of their way to attend to our needs, the river views of Bangkok are spectacular both by day and especially at night free hotel boat from the private jetty to the BTS train station from where you can access many areas of Bangkok was very good

“5 Star relaxation at its best!”

The rooms are just amazing, I mean, for someone living in England where everything from the roads to room sizes are as small like mobile box, I would say your room were fantastic. The TV programming was just about fine, however, I missed the US Open Tennis, some would say, for a 5 star hotel, there should be able to watch sports programmes, which aren't prepaid or pay per view, however again, don't mind me, it's just me being a crazy tennis fan lol. There are other sports channels don’t get me wrong please. Furthermore, your restaurant is just so lovely, the position and the atmosphere was just breathtaking. Another thing I can't help myself, but have been dying to want to comment about is the friendliness of the people of Thailand and the employees at the hotel. They were so nice I almost fell on my feet, I have never seen people so friendly, smiling and highly trained as such, I will rate that as a 10/10 and you will see me someday again at Chatrium. This being my first time to another 3rd world country apart from Africa (A Nigerian living in the UK), I must say the customer service at this hotel supersede that of Europe and North America which I have in the past thought to be the best in the world based on my experience in those parts of the world, Thailand and Chatrium proved me wrong - they are just too lovely, never ending smiles, Thailand and Chatrium will improve your smiling ability.

“Fantastic relaxing hotel in the heart of Bangkok”

This hotel was such a pleasant surprise, even with the No. 1 rating on this and other websites. It really was a quiet, tranquil, relaxing hotel in the heart of a bustling city. The outdoor infinity pool is on the 6th floor, so while you can get a river view from one end of the pool, at the other it feels a far more rural area with few buildings overlooking the area. The service at this hotel is great, and the free shuttle ferry to and from the nearest Skyrail (overhead train) station and central ferry depot was very conveniant. Overall, I would definately recommend if you are looking for a relaxing break, if you are looking for an action packed holiday, somewhere further North in the city may be better.
