Great hotel apartmentPosted Feb 16, 2014
Pros: pool area, spacious room
Cons: more choice at breakfast
Location: very convenient location with local shops, restaurants and facilities like dentist, pharmacy, etc.
Great hotel in very convenient location with local shops, restaurants and facilities like dentist, pharmacy, etc. About the hotel: We had a big room with very comfy bed and fully equipped kitchen. One negative probably was the view from the window, that wasn't anything nice, but that's me just being picky. Hotel staff was very accommodating and helpful. Very nice pool area. Decent buffet breakfast. Overall, very happy with my stay and I would come back there.

Great valuePosted Feb 13, 2014
Pros: Great value
Cons: More shuttle service
Location: Location isn't great but there are some small shops, restaurants, a Starbucks, and massage places next door.
The bad of this hotel is that it isn't close to the train or popular spots in Thailand and the decor is outdated. But the rooms are HUGE for the cheap price and come with a fully stocked kitchen. The breakfast buffet is okay and other meals we had there were pretty good. The pool is nice with a bigger than normal kiddie portion, and they have a playground and playroom for kids too. Fitness Center is pretty big and nice. They have a shuttle service that goes to a variety of places, but the schedule is a little bit odd, with some drop offs offering no pickups, but it was still quite useful. There is a large Tesco Lotus nearby, about a 1/4 mile away and not a lot else besides some small shops next to the hotel. Across the street there are 3 or 4 massage places too that are nice and cheap. All in all, the value for the price is unbelievable.

Chatrium residance in sathonPosted Feb 9, 2014
Pros: The breakfast is excellent.
Cons: The shower were a little outdated, but they will get the job done.
Location: The location is away from downtown but it is located close enough to catch a cab a little cost.
The hotel had all amenities that one requires for a family of five. It had a small kitchen if you want to cook or a laundry room if need to wash. Laundry is a little expensive. 110bht per wash and 110 per dryer. The hotel is nestled in an area away from downtown which is good if you have kids because you are not in the middle of the hustle and bustle of downtown. It cost about 110bht to take you into downtown which is about 4 USD. I would recommend this hotel and it is worth adding the breakfast it is worth every penny.

Great place!Posted Feb 6, 2014
Pros: The Breakfast and the room accommodations were great.
Cons: The showers need some updating.
Location: You need a taxis in order to get to downtown.
This place has all the accommodations one needs in Bangkok. The only down side of this place is that you must get the hotel to give you it's address because a lot of the taxis away from the hotel are not aware of the location. But, Hotel provides you with a card that has the name of the hotel and address. If you plan on staying here add the breakfast because it will worth your money. It is great! The only down side of this hotel is that the host in the front desk have a difficult time understanding english but what do you expect when you are in a foreign country. Would I recommend this place to my friends? Yes!

Great hotel away from hustle and bustlePosted Feb 3, 2014
We spent 5 nights in this hotel. We thought it was great value. We are a family of 4 - children aged 16 and 13. We had a three bedroom room and this was great for privacy and space. We did not bother with including breakfast as we preferred to wander down to explore the smaller eateries on the street below. The hotel was a fair distance from downtown Bangkok however we enjoyed this as it was away from the hustle and bustle and taxis are always available. Great fun pool for the kids. Great gym.

Just what we neededPosted Feb 3, 2014
Pros: Large family room. Clean and quiet.
Cons: Kitchenettes are a little dated compared to the rest of the room. Someone to take drink orders pool side
Location: Nice shopping mall. Great street markets.
After 28 hours of straight travel from Edmonton (Canada) , this hotel was just what we needed. Check in was smooth, the room was clean and quiet. Our three bedroom unit was exactly as shown in the pictures, large, well furnished and very comfortable. The pool and facilities deck saw good use by my four daughter (3,4,7,13) while Mom and I lounged in the pool side chairs. There are some excellent street vendors, and restaurants right across the street. All in all it was a very pleasant way to ease everyone into our first taste of Thailand.

Excellent value western style hotelPosted Feb 1, 2014
I only stayed here one night and booked it by accident as I had stayed at the Chatrium Riverside before which is also very nice and thought this was there. This hotel is a great standard, on par with a western 4 star in my book. Very friendly staff, very efficient, polite and attentive. The bed was super comfy and the room had a small kitchenette and seating area too so it felt quite a reasonable size. The pool area is good, the pool loops around a little island and it's all quite shallow so would be ideal for kids. It is surrounded by high rises so I'm not sure you'd get much sunbathing in here though. I would definitely stay here again as it's excellent value when compared to similar offerings from more well known western brands.

Great city stay, rooms superbPosted Jan 26, 2014
Stayed 2 nights with 6yr old and 8 yr old as a stopover. The hotel is magnificent, rooms outstanding. Great to have good choice of local restaurants just down the road (we ate at a Hong Kong place that was simply divine, reasonably priced too). The only negative is the proximity to tourism, the staff helped us to get a taxi then express boat to the grand palace but on returning at the end of the day we struggled to get a taxi home. Not sure if this was because of the political riots or not. It didn't spoil our time. Certainly worth booking breakfast with room rate, there was a terrific selection of breakfasts from around the world. I would highly recommend this spot for families and business travellers, it had every facility you could want and more. I especially appreciated in room washing machine during our quick stay.
