An excellent loation. Contemporary, clean and fit for purpose. Great brekkie and very helpful staff. Would def. recommend and go again if in town.

“Great value hotel in Bangkok”

Excellent location and the service by all staff was excellent. Rooms were functional and spotlessly kept refreshed. Nothing too difficult for staff. Although small, boutique style, service and condition were excellent and I would definitely use again and recommend to others .

Very nice, clean, and hotel with modern styling. Enjoyed our stay and the quality food from the lounge/restaurant. Beautiful view overlooking the street (Soi 22) from that lounge.

“Excellent short-stay option for Bangkok”

I have just made two short visits to Bangkok and found a hotel that matches the needs of someone who wants a modern room with excellent plumbing, a comfortable bed and a central location. The Citrus Hotel scores high on each of these measures. In Thailand, the plumbing can be unreliable, even in the big name hotels. The Citrus has invested in excellent equipment and offers the choice of a "giant" shower, hand-held shower and superb tub. After a long journey and a hot shower, there is nothing like the large bed in which to sleep for as many hours as you like. Finally the Citrus is located a few minutes walk from the Emporium complex. Obviously the Emporium is an excellent place to shop. It is also connected to the Skytrain that can take you to other shopping, official and business locations. The Citrus is also a few meters away from a pleasant park---like a smaller version of Lumphini Park---and lying between the hotel and the Emporium. Needless to say, the neighborhood contains a number of restaurants featuring a wide range of cuisines. My preference is "The Dubliner," an Irish pub around the corner from the hotel.

“No lounge area at the reception area and cannot hang around in the hotel lobby.”

Rooms are cute and well furnished except the size is small. Bathroom shower wall glasses are leaky and water spray enters the bedroom area

“OK for the money”

Hotel staff was very nice and accomodating. Hotel location was close to skytrain station which was very convenient to avoid bangkok's brutal traffic. room could've been cleaner but it was OK. Breakfast was also OK. Room had free wi-fi and overall it wasn't bad for the price.

“Great rooms, great location”

Great little hotel, beautiful rooms nicely decorated and modern, espacious bathrooms with bath tub and separate rain showers. big LCD tv, but not many foreign channels, 24h room service, but little bit overpriced, good service. Great breakfast selection. Very good location for shopping and nightlife. never used swimmingpool. Overall good choice for a few days in bankok.

“Good value but don't expect amazing service”

If you're looking a for no frills hotel located in a central part of Bangkok then this is a good option. Obviously it's not one of the big name hotels so expect service levels to watch. The new Holiday Inn hotel is being built on the same street so would suggest telling the taxi driver to go there if they haven't heard of the hotel, which happened often. Close to the metro line but taxis are so cheap that we didn't use trains.

“Very tired now”

I've stayed in Citrus 22 a few years ago after it was refurbished. The common areas of the hotel itself are still very pristine. The restaurant and bar area are clean and well designed and appealing. The rooms however are now very tired. There were lots of significant scrapes and damage to the decor within the room including wood panelling and walls. The main factor which made the stay unenjoyable was the 2 high windows in the bathroom. Due to the piece of translucent glass between the bathroom and the bedroom, at 6.45 am each day, the room lit up. There was no way to cover these windows and in the end, I managed to shove a pillow into the recess for each, and then finally sleep past 7am. Sleep was the most important factor for me. The noisy Queen's park plaza next door (with music and activity til late), and the noise of the staff on radios very early in the mornings did not help either. The wireless internet was okay and generally fast enough to allow a Skype call. TV choice was also okay and included a few English channels including HBO. The mini bar was well stocked but did not include any diet drinks. My room did not include and iron or ironing board. The bathroom was good. In order to bring this hotel up one point in my opinion, simply placing a curtain between the bathroom glass and bedroom and touching up the room would make a big difference. Lack of sleep is a big thumbs down for me. The area itself is fun and for new visitors to Bangkok, Soi 22 is very vibrant.

“Front Office Staff Not Helpful”

The front desk staff was rude and not helpful @ both check in and out - arrived at the Hotel 2 hours before check in and was not even offered a place to store 1 piece of luggage - front desk is on level 2 and I finally received help from the luggage guys on level 1 -
