“I wrote on the coment box on above , if I go back to Bangkok , I'll stay in it”
I like the place , I like the location , I like the service , I lkie the people working there , and much much more .
“Conrad bangkok”
Great hotel with all the amenities you could want in a great location! Nothing negative to say about this hotel. Staying here was a great experience!
“Always my first choice when staying in BKK”
I always thoroughly enjoy my stays at the Conrad. The service is impeccable, the rooms magnificent (the bathroom is quite an attraction in and of itself) and while the location isn't ideal - it's about a 10 minute walk to the BTS - a shuttle bus service can also take you if you don't mind the wait. I particularly enjoy lounging in the Diplomat Bar after work.
“Good location”
Good location and convenient
“Not quite excellent”
The Conrad was very nicely done hotel with extremely responsive staff but not quite the experience you expect from a 5 star hotel. The room was very well done, view was beautiful, and the breakfast was terrific. I was a bit disappointed to feel nickle and dimed as they charged for many little things which were free at all the other 4 star hotels we stayed at in Thailand, such as wifi and anything more then a very small amount of water. The location was also a little off main areas which added another 10 min walk to get anywhere and seemed to cause a lot of problems getting taxis. Twice in two days I gave up on getting one after waiting more then 5 min in que with other customers to have only one cab show up in that time.
“Fun and stylish”
Very comfortable room, smaller than in some comparable Bangkok hotels, but with stylish and funky decor. (Not only do you get a silk elephant as a souvenir, but there's a yellow rubber squeaky one in the tub, just behind the glass wall you can close off with an opaque curtain.) The public spaces are not grandiose, but that's to be expected in such a central location. (Central for business - tourists might be better off by the river.) Staff as friendly and efficient as anywhere else, but at the Conrad they wear baseball caps.
“Key's Don't Work”
You have to be a locksmith to get into your room quickly! I found quite a few guests having this problem!
“Great Hotel, Great Staff.”
Very nice hotel, staff were very attentive and friendly, if you book here try to get a corner room as they are much larger. Although the standard room is also very lovely and I have stayed in this room also. Staying on the executive floors is also well worth it, you get free use of the executive area with free breakfast buffet, free wifi, free afternoon snacks and drinks plus a great place for meetings or just to relax with a great view over Bangkok. Pool was nice and quiet but you have to chase the sun as there are tall buildings that obscure it throughout the day. Gym is quiet with good equipment, did not use the Spa so cannot comment on that. This hotel is not far from the main shopping area but far enough so it is relatively quiet. It cost about 50 baht (80 pence!) in a taxi or about 10-15 min to walk to Siam Square area. The hotel also adjoins a shopping mall which is very handy, it has a pharmacy, supermarket, cafe and some high-end fashions shops. The hotel has a mix of clientèle, I would say about 70% are business travelers and 30% tourists which is great as the pool and gym are almost always quiet. I would recommend this hotel for both business and tourist travelers.
“conrad hotel”
hotel was great, gorgeous lobby, good places to eat, great locale....the only complaint is that the hallway on our floor stank! But i am sure that has been fixed by now.
