Modern, easy access from BKK, quietPosted Nov 10, 2013
Pros: Just about everything was perfect for us. The breakfasts were great and we loved the coffee.
Cons: Have some more frequent buffet dinners. When we visited they were only on Friday and Tuesday.
Location: You can take a short ride taxi to all major Bangkok attractions for a minimal charge or use a Sky Train.
We were surprised how fast, easy and inexpensive was to get to the hotel from the airport. Hotel is located walking distance to Siam Center, but in a very quiet alley. The hotel was modern, very clean and surprisingly affordable for this upscale area of the city. Personnel was very friendly and always ready to help with a smile.

When it rains hard..Posted Oct 19, 2013
When it rained hard for a couple of hours, the road in front of this hotel was filled with water. I was wet up to my knees. That's the only problem.

Friendly staff - Great LocationPosted Oct 16, 2013
Pros: Massages, Service, Room. Good Internet Connection.
Cons: Reception clerk named "S"
The people working there just seem to love greeting new guests. We had (party of 3 - two rooms) a most wonderful stay. Useful tips: (1) there is a shortcut to the Chit Lom BTS station (ask for a map at the reception) which will get you to most non-archeological/historical attractions (Food - Soi 14 & Soi 38; Shopping - Nana, etc); (2) Massages at the hotel are a bit over what the street locations offer but it's completely worth it. (3) Do ask for the Thai version of the hotel's name and address as some taxi cabs just won't get the word "Courtyard". I had just one small inconvenience while checking out - one of my friends suddenly "lost" her credit card and this one guy (he was called "S") at the reception desk didn't seem to care much. We were kind of struggling with time to catch our flight but he would just say "I gave the credit card to you", making us look all over our bags. In the end, the card had slipped into his own desk and it was another lady at the reception desk who had to take a part on this and discover the card lying right below this guy's nose. Aside from that, everything was perfect!

Convenient, well managed central Bangkok hotelPosted Sep 28, 2013
Pros: Location and value for money. Also, I commend the room equipment in terms of needing to work; especially the chair which provides good back support
Cons: A free-standing desk rather than a wall-facing work area would be preferable, but this is a minor issue in my view.
I find this hotel good value for money, with friendly and efficient staff and good sized rooms demonstrating some thought in design.

Didn't understand the premium asked for 2 windowsPosted Sep 15, 2013
Marriott is always a safe and secure place so that was good. However, the rooms did not really have a great view. in fact, due to buildings right next to it, had to keep the windows drawn on one side (after having paid a premium to get a two sided city view). That was rather sneaky - to charge extra for a benefit that did not exist.

the hotel room was very good except the staff weren't very helpful while organizing taxis. they didn't want to discuss on how to get somewhere they just said to take a taxi, when it would have been much easier, cheaper, faster to take the train. they didnt tell the driver the destination (it was hard to communicate with the driver) and most of the taxis tried to negotiate a higher price (3-5 times the actual price) while saying their meter wasnt working. it seemed like the hotel or the employee had a deal with the taxi company. I would have thought that the hotel would work with a reputable taxi company. All the taxis we got away from the hotel were much better.

Lovely hotel at great pricePosted Sep 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
I've always been a fan of the courtyard brand and this didn't disappoint. Reasonably priced, the hotel had all the 5 star facilities at a 3 star price. Nothing to complain about except that room service could be a little slow at times but it didn't bother us too much.

Good locationPosted Sep 8, 2013
It's located near major shopping malls. You can walk to many places but it is a bit far though. Excellent hotel staffs and services.
