“Good Hotel for the price, not a bad location either”

We were looking for something slightly above the guesthouse/hostel environment and found what we were looking for at the Elegance Suites. The room was spacious and the staff friendly. The breakfast buffet has both Western and Thai dishes and is included in the cost of your room. It was good, but remember that for about $1, you can go get a delicious bowl of noodles on the street. This is a good place to stay for the price if you're looking for comfort and mobility.

Make sure to write down address and TELEPHONE NUMBER as many taxi drivers will not find this place without calling the hotel. Spacious room (suite).

“Location is good but it is a very tired hotel ...”

Although the price was not bad for a hotel with a roof-top pool in central Bangok (Bangrak), the hotel is very dated and the maintainance is overdue. The cleanliness of the linnen, floors (carpets) and walls was far from perfect. On the positive note, the location is very convenient - close to Silom, a few minutes walk from the Central Pier where the boats depart to e.g. Grand Palace. The hotel staff was great - very friendly and accomodating, both at the reception and the restaurant.

“Good hotel near ShangraLa”

We were quite surprised at the room size and comfort. There is a living room with a TV and a bedroom without a TV. It also has an unfurnished kitchen. It was about 5 minutes walk to silom Holiday Inn and 8 minutes to the Shangrala.
