huge disappointment

Posted Jan 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
Staff English so bad ordering room service, spa or towels was most often impossible without going down to lobby and asking concierge to translate. Water in shower was in constant state or ice cold then scalding hot. Do not disturb sign meant housekeeping would call and disturb me asking if I wanted room clean. Windows in room so dirty cannot see well out. Pool looses sunlight very early..in fact never saw Sun over pool so if it shines on pool must only be a few hours. Thai massage 900baht an hour!!! Hotel won't assist in finding reputable in room massage for foot massage which they don't offer in hotel. Cabs very reluctant to take you to location from many areas. If you do suggest going to another hotel and using hotel to hook you up. Neighborhood is very boring and decent hike to bts station Chang nansi. Room service food is ok but very small portions. Beware, since a Taiwan owned hotel sandwiches are made just like in Taiwan...which means anything with bread has a ton of mayonnaise on it. Ordered a grilled ham and cheese ...arrived lightly toasted bread, not grilled, two super thin slices of ham like product cold, unmelted cold cheese and saturated in mayonnaise...super gross. Rooms fairly quiet. Hotel outdated. Was looking forward to my stay as I fly their airline, Eva air, often and expected same top service. Very disappointed. Would not stay again. Much better hotels in bkk.

The hotel is located about 5 minutes to the BTS station. The hotel is not a modern style but the room is quiet and clean. Not a popular hotel but if you prefer quietness. This would be the one. The breakfast is very good worth the price.

best comfortable quiet hotel

Posted Apr 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
I have stayed many times at this hotel, and will continue to do so. There is really nothing to do or see, immediately outside this hotel, as it's situated on Sathorn Road, which is a business area, but it is very close to Silom Road which is swinging every night. The hotel itself, is a very nice clean, comfortable property, and although I always take a Suite, I understand the rooms are equally nice. The hotel staff are very helpfull, and courteous, and the Buffet are delicious........if you are not particullly looking for a bustling lobby, this definietly the place to stay.
