Pros: The hotel is value for money
Cons: This hotel needs some upgrades in facilities and refurbishing.
The room was clean and comfortable and staff very friendly and helpful...Breakfast was adequate and tasty. The restaurant was a little expensive and lacking in atmosphere.Unfortunately, taxi touts are a real nuisance at fron of hotel..Offering trips to tailors and other businesses they get a commission from or offering non meter charges. Overall i enjoyed my stay.

Don't eat here

Posted Sep 16, 2014
Pros: Not much
Cons: Food,
Location: Good during the day, not so at night
As you know a day wondering around Bangkok can be very tiring so we decided to eat at the motel restaurant. We had had breakfast there - not great but pretty standard breakfast for a big city motel. So dinner - my husband ordered a Mussman Chicken Curry and I ordered a salad - the menu said "organic salad" - not that that was the reason I ordered it - but I was to find out it was a very loose usage of the word. I felt confident about getting a salad as at breakfast there was big bowls of tomato, cucumber, mixed greens and all looked fresh. The waiter at the restaurant was really good, friendly and helpful So out came the salad - a can of champignons and a can of asparagus, both emptied onto the plate with the liquid from the can as well. On top some old sad lettuce , brown and dank. Totally inedible. My husband's Mussman was one chicken drumstick - the biggest I have ever seen - maybe a turkey - who knows - undercooked - oh so bad. In general, motel OK but do not eat there........ Also just a tip, if you are going to Bangkok for just a few days stay around Phayathai Rd and Rama 1 Rd - always good restaurants and street food And if you do nothing else do make sure you go to Jim Thompsons house for a peaceful and beautiful oasis and really great food

This is a good hotel for the money and location.

Posted Sep 13, 2014
Pros: Rooms were huge and the location.
Cons: This hotel needs a refurb, very outdated.
Location: Outlet shopping 100 metres away, skytrain 100 metres away.
Great hotel for the price. Great places to eat nearby, the rooftop pool is good but be careful in the wet as its very slippery.

Excellent Service, nothing bad to say

Bangkok is crazy, but staying here felt like you were relaxed. Well as relaxed as you possibly could be in Bangkok. The service was impeccable the food and the room was the same. Also reasonably priced. Would recommend to anyone!

Great Hotel, poor internet

Posted Sep 10, 2014
Pros: The room cleanliness and comfort was excellent. Great buffet breakfast and pool. Friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Internet needs to be upgraded badly
Location: The Myanmar Embassy was around the corner as well as the train line.
The room cleanliness and comfort was excellent. Great buffet breakfast and pool. The only problem I ran into was that the hotel had terrible internet service and as I needed to do work on my laptop I had to do it other places other then in my hotel which was not accommodating. I would recommend this hotel to anybody, but if you need internet like I do, than I would recommend staying somewhere different.

Nice hotel.

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Making the rooms smoke free would be great.
Location: Patpong markets close
Nice hotel. Great breakfast. But the room smelt of smoke and made it unpleasant when you walked into the room each time. Great location to Patpong markets.
